>SAS doesn't use it
>Delta doesn't use it
>ST6 doesn't use it
They've all used the ACOG at some point. SAS still uses the TA01NSN + Docter combo. ELCAN IS BTFO at this point.

Sako green is better than AI sage green

What trigger are you using? Bendy bill or mil spec?

ACOG is fine

Who the fuck needs a surefire scout, just take the big fuck off light you use inna woods (1500 lumens) and a roll of trex tape and slap it on there

basically

what is forged edm'd steel supposed to bend now
SSA

>what is forged edm'd steel supposed to bend now
It's investment casting. You want tool steel, get lejew. Personally mbts are ugly, shit pull, and the shoe's weird.

>Go to a busy range
Ah yes the range fudd, the perfect source for reference
>unless you're literally going to war which I'm not
Or unless you want a dependable optic
>lol no
Seriously what is the height to center on that thing? 1.93?
>doesnt conduct heat
If there was one build to conduct heat it would be this one
>this isn't a machine gun, I don't need heatsink
l2thermodynamics
More mass = Longer to heat up and longer to cool down
More surface area = quicker to cool down
If Ian and karl had even the slightest understanding of physics they would go for a medium weight fluted profile so that they increased their barrel cooling and increased the number of rounds required to heat up the barrel. If you are truly running stages with the gun you will want consistency during the stage and whocares the cooling time, obviously best for this is a fuckheavy barrel but that doesnt really work when pushing the rifle around quickly so compromises must be made.

thanks for the pic, added it to the cringe folder.

What rail?

LPVO > ACOG

Attached: IMG_20190523_1344202.jpg (4032x3024, 2.05M)

When is the best time to sell my unused mk14 bendy? I want to get some fourth of July bux

nobody will tell you because that picture is so awful that nobody can actually see

>championing fluting this hard
Trip on wuggy

...

ian is a larper

If I was wuggy I would be matlab posting and shilling for spirals since they are superior to fluting.

Post timestamped spore culture

>shit pull
nah you can fuck off
both my MBTs are better than the SSAE

Attached: DSC_5567.jpg (2400x1600, 2.04M)

Except when it comes to weight

14oz
with a mount

Attached: DSC_2702[1].jpg (2160x1440, 3.52M)

>Except when it comes to weight
just lift more.

I hate how weak the MBTs reset. I'll admit the break is phenomenal. I can't get over the wide shoe. I've never had a SSA-E but had the Super Scar, which I heard from Bendy Bill is the same thing. It would be a bit light for a do-all carbine. I'll try SSA next.

Start using 53gr VMAX

the super scar seems lighter, and the reset shorter
i've double tapped by accident

Attached: DSC_9897[1].jpg (1800x1200, 1.15M)

Yeah. I didn't like the Super Scar much. It was too light. Nowadays, I prefer milspec for the single stage.

i think your meower is broke

ACOG is best

Attached: Ta31f.jpg (357x288, 88K)

Worse how?

well he's a right cunt and fat as ash now

1lbs 6oz for a 1x gimmick
at 4x it's functionally identical, so what's the point

>what's the point
Aesthetics? That's about it.

>slightly better eye relief if no buis
>MRDS can mount forward if you're running nods, so you don't knock it with your helmet

Should I cop this for 600 smackers?

Attached: screenshot-www.armslist.com-2019.06.22-21-13-40.png (670x314, 329K)

well yeah

>no buis
god no, that's non negotiable

trying to get behind an optic with nods is autistic

Attached: IMG_20190622_164956642.jpg (3264x1836, 868K)

yes

Loling at all the idiots with ACOGs
>collapsible stock all the way collapsed
Wonderful ergos, you faggots. How about using an optic with non-shit eye relief sometime?

What is the best non-NFA AR-15 that you can buy right now?

well are you going to post your LPVO buddy or what

Attached: smurf3.jpg (157x157, 21K)

SR-15 16'' or 14.5 pinned

>trying to get behind an optic with nods is autistic
not even MRDS? I don't know because no nods.

Post your rifle

What’s your take on 14.5 vs 16, I want an SR15 but don’t know if I want the same barrel length as my current AR

Attached: 1E705AFC-27E2-493C-A6E7-F9BA99507420.jpg (2016x1512, 2.95M)

PSA is fine.

Attached: Poortex.png (370x917, 633K)

Aren't all 14.5 midlength/intermediate lengths overgassed to ensure function?
I believe that defeats the purpose of lessening dwell time.

Ayyy.
JUST AS GOOD (TM). You can run the ACOG 1 notch out on the stock np.

Oof

Attached: 20190608_145612.jpg (3264x1836, 3.02M)

never used an mrds
can use an rmr on a handgun

trying to get behind anything on a rifle with helmet mounted nods sucks

Attached: DSC_2761[1].jpg (1800x1200, 1020K)

Turn your trip back on, Dan.

My PSA just shat out it's buffer spring retaining pin today because PSA didn't screw in the buffer tube enough. At least they have a lifetime warranty.

something is horribly wrong with me i think im falling in love with ash

>Not getting a viper PST 1-6
oof

I mean 14.5 carbine is overgassed as is. 14.5 midlength runs into dwell time issues.

well the correct answer is always 14.5

please livestream your suicide

I thought you finally fucked off forever

Should I?

Okay loser

I meant MRDS (micro red dot sight) to include RMRs, not just the EOTech one.
>trying to get behind anything on a rifle with helmet mounted nods sucks
I see. Even the big EOTech? So I guess only as a backup of the PEQ then?

whatever loser

Attached: arg.jpg (890x395, 157K)

Yes
At least he posts his guns

>forever
No I've just been playing with trains.

I'm never leaving.

Attached: 20190617_133245.jpg (3264x1836, 1.39M)

What optic?

nice try scaranon

14.5 carbine is reliable. 14.5 midlength is picky unless you open up the port hole BIG.

Attached: ash hand.jpg (476x667, 63K)

That way you could filter me though :^)

dear lord so fat

Your gas tube is bent

Well you're both wrong but that's okay.

Attached: 20180210_151715.jpg (3264x1836, 1.6M)

if your laser fails, first of all, what the fuck did you do to break a peq
second lol just call it a night and head home

you're not comfortably going to use an eotech with helmet mounted nods unless you want to hold your rifle off your shoulder in front of you like some fucking african
the nv setting on an eotech is for weapon mounting a PVS 14 or somthing similar.

btw don't do that if you don't want to burn a reticle into your intensifier

Attached: DSC_2712[1].jpg (2160x1440, 1.55M)

You should’ve stuck to posting goats.

Explain how 14.5 Carbine is unreliable

What barrel length? 14.7? Will it run in arctic conditions?

Brand of yikes everything?

>btw don't do that if you don't want to burn a reticle into your intensifier
Are NODs really that fragile? Especially when the NV setting is designed for the NODs? How come the PEQ laser doesn't burn into the intensifier then?

>you're not comfortably going to use an eotech with helmet mounted nods unless you want to hold your rifle off your shoulder in front of you like some fucking african
There was some contrarian fuckstick who decked out an AK74 with Zenitco and a EXPS w/ magnifier that militantly defended his optic setup as superior to anything and insisted the Eotech wins because he could easily use it with NODS. Imagine him actually trying to do that.

>If you kill your enemies they win.
What's it like being a Justin Trudeau level cuck?

Attached: Justin-Trudeau-If-you-kill-your-enemies-they-win.png (960x540, 615K)

Post yer family pics faggots

Attached: 20190622_195851.jpg (3264x1836, 913K)

Maybe a KAC skyscraper mount will work.

Imagine having your taste holy shit I would KSGYS myself
Try again.
Yes and yes.

>Poortex

Opinion discarded

it has to do with having a small light consistently in the exact same spot in the intensifier, it's not good for it
also recoil isn't good for it either

I see. Like old plasma tvs.

yeah yeah it's the phosphor screen that gets fucked, i think

you'll see right away on a used PVS if some one weapon mounted it, bc it always has a burn in the middle

Attached: 466fcd9b4b003b9b866cc37e1da94c25.jpg (326x326, 49K)

How is it that a literal NEET like Ash has such a nice rifle?

Naw he just had one of the edgy looking zenit mounts.

If I buy a Nightforce scope, will I get mad puss? Will I be swimming in puss?

ar15.com/forums/Industry/Keep-your-PVS-14-on-your-head/209-286199/
>Sure, you can weapon mount the monocular behind your red dot. But, we now introduce a damage problem. Even in the near IR night vision setting, your red dot makes plenty of light that your NVG sees. Fixing your NVG behind the red dot for any amount of time more than a minute or two can possibly causing permanent damage to the image tube. The intense, static red dot or reticle will burn in to your image tube because it does not move. Yes, the Gen3 tubes are auto-gated and therefore somewhat protected from light exposure, it still must be within reason. Moving through a lit area while wearing your Gen3 Auto-gated NVG will not expose it to any intense, constant light from a specific source. You can do that for several minutes. But, the constant exposure to an IR or near-IR light source for (even) less than a minute, can cause permanent burn-in. The NV settings on your red dot are designed to be used while wearing the goggle on your head so the light exposure is not constant in the same location.
TNVC confirms what you said.

Fucking drowning.

>ACOG
>stock almost all the way forward
Lol, great ergonomics, bruh.

Swimming in pus? Yes.

>forward
Is this subhuman nigger newspeak for "collapsed"?

>stock all the way out
This is autism. Not practical for cqb.

I like arg better when you're off denying college admission to POC

>ash
>nice rifle
Pick one

Is it worth buying Colt rifles in 2019?

nu-arg

Yeah well I post here while I do that too so there's no escape for you you stupid whore.
