That was brave/stupid of him.. Wiring harnesses burn.

The “Truckla”.

People will say Toyota but they've gone the way of planned obsolescence/not being self serviceable in recent times. It sucks an honest company can't afford to stay in business in this fucked up world.

>hey look a forest fire with people on the other side
>think I'll pass, wiring harnesses are fragile and my insurance won't cover it
Fuck it, sometimes you have to do the stupid thing.

Please don't be this fucking dense.

They are unironically good and a lot of guys at the range have one.

4WD truck, Jeep Wrangler or Cherokee, 4Runner/Land Cruiser

Less money on fuel

Fuel efficiency, 4X4 capability, compact. The radio screen is amazing, I can plug in my phone and open up google maps on it, set it to terrain mode and can see every single back road, logging trail, everything.

TBI K1500/2500 GM trucks. They can be bought for sub-$1000 at times, almost invincible, very easy to work on, OE parts are available on Amazon for almost free and they come in pretty much any body configuration you want.

2017 TRD Pro 4Runner in cement reporting in. It does everything I could dream of while off-roading. I've never been off-roading. It was $55,000 after taxes and everything when I bought it. And now my wife drives it and I drive her 2010 SR5 4Runner.

What a faggot. I bet it even has power steering and a working radio.

>nurse
>male
>overcompensation truck
Sounds about right

I want to get rid of the 2010 and just get some ugly piece of shit beat up car just to drive to work with.

>terrain appears
oh noooo time to go back to the government's roads!

Toyota Hilux.

As for an actual car I bought my friends Subaru GC8 coupe off him for $240 before he went into BMT.
Swapping in a newer EJ205 with AVCS out of a WRX and doing general reliability mods / lifting since I plan to give it back to him when he's back home; but
>AWD
>Turbo
>Manual
>Proven offroad / rally application
what more could you want for a road car.

Mine is pretty Jow Forums tier.

My fear with buying used vehicles, especially cheap ones, isn't any problem with a particular vehicle itself. Its the unknown maintenance that the retards who owned it before you have done. I'd hate to buy a suburban and have to do a top end rebuild right off the bat or something

yeah but you look like a huge fucking faggot driving something like that.

That's been my view as well, less gas more bullets.
Mpg>Horses

i already daily drive a tiny ass carbureted 80's Corolla, I 2dr WRX isn't much worse

That's all that matters

>Colorado ZR2
Patrician.
Only problem I have with modern light-duty trucks is that they're as big as a half-ton from 20 years ago. Compare an S10 to a Colorado, or an old body Ranger to the new ones. A Dodge Durango to a Ram Rebel.
Worse still, half-tons are as big or bigger than 3/4-tons, and then there's the really retarded stuff like the Nissan Titan that's bigger than any one-ton truck with a smaller engine than some half-tons for maximum dick compensation.

your boyfriend takes nice pictures

I'm just saying, wiring harnesses are fragile shit thanks to automotive manufacturers putting them in dumb spots to cause shorts which means maintenance money for them.

Your mom also drives my cock up her ass. What’s your point?

Toyota Hilux is the most Jow Forums vehicle.

Not the reddit mobile?

>”nyuuurrr get a Cherokee xj”
Get a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.
>V8 HEMI
>large and roomy for all the bitches you’ll be picking up in it
>heated and cooled seats
>backup cameras so fatties don’t have to go into cardiac arrest turning their heads
>satellite radio
>Bluetooth
>gps
>heated steering wheel
>digital gauges for tire pressure
>bitchin’ Bose or Beats audio
>4WD has separate settings for snow, sand, gravel, and mud
>pre-equipped with tow hooks
>hidden compartments and false bottoms in the back and trunk
>sleek and sexy unlike that shitty 90s box look

11/10, XJ’s are for poors

You sound like a person who goes "wheeling" at the mall

A dirtbike/enduro is better than a car or truck:
>can't get stuck in traffic
>can use shitloads of shortcuts
>can handle serious offroading
>doesn't need much fuel
>easy to fix

>easy to kill and steal all supplies

Fuck you, 90s box Cherokee anesthetic was on point.

I phoneposted recklessly and must now commit sudoku.

>his truck
>nurse
huh??

It’s not Jow Forums by any means, but everyone digs the /druglord/ aesthetic. There’s something about pulling up to the range and pulling a rifle out the trunk of it which makes me feel like a kid every time

Attached: 3C5BE917-6D17-457A-A901-9A269E06000E.jpg (299x168, 9K)

The best SHTF vehicle is a dirtbike that you IMMEDIATELY ditch once out of an urban area

Vehicles are:
-loud and attract attention
-require fuel
-require maintenance
-offer zero protection from anything other than mild weather
-cant traverse really rough terrain

and those of you mentioning cars are even fucking stupider, have fun with traffic.

Nice larp

thats what this whole thread is, what is your point jackass

>bring rude on Jow Forums
Are you 16?

>i have no arguement
im old enough to be your father, fuck off

Why so triggered?

you just seem upset that i called your dudebro jeep a retarded mode of transportation in a shitty /o/ thread that doesn't even belong on Jow Forums, did i hurt your feelings that much?

Who are you even arguing with?

They are ironically not good at all for offroad. sperglord.

hoping to build one of these when I own a piece of property to fuck around on.

Now is this issue Toyota wide or just their North American products due to the retarded nature of the American truck market?

Alright listen tf up, cos I'm only gonna say this once
The Toyota Mothefucking Aqua.
Tiny, rugged, and built to survive the apocalypse five times over.
Able to cross from one side of Australia to the other, and back, just from throwing a few jerry cans of fuel in the back
With an entirely fixed gear power split device rather than a traditional variable ratio transmission, the tranny will outlast any other car by a million miles
The only needed maintenance is an oil change every 10k km, and the engine will run full of fucking nutella if you want, and if you REALLY wanna make it last, changing the transaxle fluid in the hybrid synergy drive/power split device every year or 50k km's, but I know people who've driven them over a million miles without changing it once.
No changing gears, no wear, they'll last forever.
You can drive the thing totally silently for a few miles if you need to go in somewhere all sneaky beaky like, there's enough room inside for you, your GF, your dog, all your guns, enough fuel to go 10,000km, and, if you want, you can fold the chairs flat and sleep in it/fuck your GF (hopefully not while you're dog's in the car, don't be gross guy,
Thanks to the hybrid powertrain it can maintain cabin temperature at 22c even when it's below -10c outside for up to three days on 10 litres of fuel, the internal inverter can provide 14 volts at 100 amps continuously for your use, or you can just use the 144v from the traction battery directly, also up to 100 amps, for up to 14 kilowatts of power usage.
Enough to run a fridge, microwave, gaming rig, hairdryer, and water heater all at the same time.
It's the ultimate survivalist vehicle.
And best of all, it's fun as hell to drive.
Lightweight, well balanced, and, thanks to the PSD, able to run the engine at the peak power output point while transferring all power directly to the wheels, no matter how fast you're going.
Inertial drifting down a mountainside highway has never been so fun.
The Toyota Aqua!
IT CUTE!

a lexus

Any old Lada will do
>easy to fix
>abundant parts
>it just works

>"g-get this overpriced soccer mom van, p-poorfags!"
>goes over a slightly tall rock and the transmission pan gets destroyed because lol no clearance whatsoever
>being retarded that you need a backup camera
>muh heated and cooled seats
>I can just get a garmin GPS
>muh heated steering wheel
>acting at all like bose and beats are good
>4wd has meme settings
>"b-but it's trail rated"
ask me how I know you overpaid for your piece of shit

Attached: 1513226930258.gif (245x280, 1.3M)

in the case of subarus awd > 4wd.
front shafts extend out from the trans & rear output shaft goes to a independent rear diff. less shit to break and go wrong, and you can lock your center diff then pull your front or rear shafts to go FWD or RWD

UAZ Hunter
GAZ-67
Willis MB
Toyota Hilux

Judging from OP's pic it wasn't overcompensation.

19 Limited with Pro facelift and King suspension lift checking in.
Any 4runner will do, but avoid second gens without service records because memes and they have terrible engine/ransmission issues. Any Tacoma before 2016 is good.

Nice car, weeb
