Its pretty good I guess

it would be extremely painful

probably because you are an ignorant faggot

Of all the potential gear that they could have picked, the primary advantage the weapons and vehicles selected held over alternatives is that they were French.

the french are owned lock stock and barrel by the rothschilds and they are broke...

- a lot of really good engineers. The Rafale did better than the Typhoon even so it was made by only one little country while the Eurofighter was made by 4 europeans coutries
- an independant army, not like this one in Poland where they just suck the NATO dick every time
- a really good plane carrier wich is currently in India if don't say shit. But we need two lands carriers for sure
but
- Macron is a beta cuck who likes to give his ass to Germany, so it's in danger. We'll see

the rafale specifically is a really good plane for its weight class, it's smaller and has less powerful engines than the typhoon yet carries more ordnance, has much a lower corner speed and minimum turn radius, and accelerates just as well clean.

plus it's the only non-american CATOBAR capable aircraft in the world, so by default it shits all over every other yuro, vatnik, and chink stobar carrier plane

It is robust enough to supply the French military, which is all that is expected of it.

Their aviation and firearms were rally good but ya slowly died. Except for aviation

Do the French have any small arms manufacturer nowadays?

There are still manurhin, chapuis, verney-caron and an assortment of small-ish weapons manufacturer, though it's mostly hunting and sporting weapons, with a bunch of revolvers but occasionally dabbling in the ar-15 and ar-10 clones market.

Well, you got yourself caught, what's the next step in your 'master plan'?

> comment on France

What did this anonymous retard mean by this?

> surprised that a thing made by one country & company better than one made all over the place

Countries love multi supplier & multi builder rules because it means their own arms industries can stay alive. Companies can love it too because it means they can build most of the stuff cheap and then have someone in the first world put the final screws in for a “made in murrica” (or similar) badge. Can you even name one thing which uses a transnational supply chain which isn’t complete shite?

Not all of them are CATOBAR-capable. There is so little parts commonality between the Rafale M and the others models that it might as well not be a Rafale.

meant for

>strength of French arms industry
This strength is a combination of lax labor laws due to their socialist tendencies and shitty work ethic. Their foreign sales often compromise shady deals and bribery. When you have French equipment you can expect many and expensive repairs to make up for the cheap price they sold you on.

Hi Steve, how's Australia at this time of the year?

>socialist tendencies
>lax labor laws

>Their foreign sales often compromise shady deals and bribery
This is very true the rest of your post is just nonsense though.

>Tell me about strenght of french arms industry
Total garbage outside of their shipbuilding sector. They actually managed to lose money on the only Leclerc sale they made.

Meaning among other things it's hard for an employer to fire dysfunctional employees. They need many reforms yet when they want little, incremental change to move them toward Northern Europe ideals they start rioting en mass like they do every other day. French are scum.

One of three nations with a running 6th gen fighter developement.

>running

Let's not get carried away. The project has all the time in the world to crash and burn several times.

Spoken like a Bong.

user, basically any good you own comes from a transnational supply chain

Crashing this threads...With NO MOD REPLIES..

French actually

And most of it is shit. But I’m talking about complicated hardware built across language and culture barriers. Software is easier but still tricky, and something as basic as steel from one country used for another country’s plant is at least straightforward. But tiny little bits of very fault-intolerant hardware spanning different countries? Usually absolute garbage.

still superior since the rest of europe still cannot into catapults
in any case rafale c has the same aerodynamics as the rafale m while being lighter as a result of not have to be catobar capable, meaning it's even more capable than the eurofighter
really the only problem the rafale has is that its stupid fucking expensive and costs almost as much as SAR APUC estimate for the Raptor

We still have small scale manufacturers like verney carron but we wouldn't be able to develop a branch new assault rifle and produce tens of thousand of them like the FAMAS.

On the plus side our politics did have a serious reflection about that matter and it was determined there are enough different suppliers of small arms and ammunitions on the market we wouldn't be stuck if a given supplier can't deliver any more, so they took the quite rational decision to use our limited defense budget to preserve other more strategicaly valuable elements of our industry.

Not Aussie, just know the inner workings unlike the Aussies that shot themselves in the foot with French subs. Indians already report massive sound signature and major recurring issues with their Scorpenes.
This fucking arrogant nation always talks it's big mouth and uses the EU and trade organisations to push it's shitty products and at the same time does not conform to European procurement rules for their own needs and labels most acquisitions secretive to protect noncompetitive and subsided French industries in dire need of reforms and automation etc.
France is a backwards country and frankly the reason the EU should stop and the North should unite without the South.

Meanwhile Germans
>invent the spitzer bullet
>create the greatest bolt action rifle in existence; action still used on nearly every subsequent bolt action ever made; rifle saw service all across the globe as every nation that could clamored to buy them
>create the first practical autoloading pistols
>create the anti-tank/anti-materiel rifle
>create the very concept of the assault rifle and field it
>continue to make groundbreaking advancements up to the present day
Meanwhile, France
>always late to the party, invents great guns a decade after they're outdated
>can't even maintain its own service rifle, has to send them to Beretta
>adopted a German rifle for their latest service rifle, pretty much ending any hope of domestic arms production in the future

The fact that the best achievements you can list for them are from more than a century ago should be the point where you realize France is irrelevant. What, are we going to call the Chinks the masters of gun technology just because they invented the shit (then subsequently got brutally dominated by westerners using their own invention?)

>What, are we going to call the Chinks the masters of gun technology just because they invented the shit (then subsequently got brutally dominated by westerners using their own invention?)
Proof: France will dominate the world again. Mutts BTFO

France isn't even on the level of worrying us. BTFO Italy first, then Britain, then if you're up to Germany. Once you're at the level of Russia you can be considered an actual independent nation.

i imagine their jets make a HON HON HON noise as they fly

*Rifled cannons

*cucked nation

G*rmany is more cucked than france to be honest.

Ironic

Not even a Wehraboo, just rightfully recognizing they are more relevant in current year+3 than France has been for a hundred years. If I were sitting here having this discussion with you in 1880, then yes, you might be able to persuade me France is more relevant than Germany militarily. But we aren't there nor then. Anyway, America makes the best guns, and always will. Individual Americans did more than entire nations to modernize firearms.

>first to issue a military uniform
I didn't realize we were talking about Sweden
>rifling cannons
I like how you have to specify, because it was Germans that invented rifling.
>bayonet
The word is French, but they did not invent it.

Best french weapon I know is the Truck of Piece.
Thtas french right?

Germany is barely relevant if it weren’t for them dominating the European Union

>Anyway, America makes the best guns

Only if you don't count Italy because we know no one can hope to compete with theirs. I know they're mostly just clones of german guns, but they perfect them. It's actually something the Italians have done since the ancient Romans.

The etrucans invented the arch, the italians built aqueducts and colleseums. The Carthaginians pionered naval warfare, the Italians perfected it and ruled the mediterranian. The Iberians invented the gladius, the Italians conquered the world with it. The Chinese invented the noddle, the Italians cooked it without dog. The germans invented cars and guns, the italians made them sexy. The greeks invented sex, the Italians introduced it to women. I could go one forever.

Im a Hans and would buy a american gun if the EU wouldnt blast the taxes on me. And shut up, all we want is the M4 and M9 from italy.
US guns > German guns > Belgium,Swiss > Italy

Hmm
>develop an actual caseless rifle and prepare to field it; only the massive financial disaster of rebuilding a post-Communist nation derails the project
>develop the assault rifle itself
>create the best handgun
>create the second best handgun
>create the good enough handgun that is cheap enough the entire world adopts it (Austria is rightful German clay)
>create the best submachinegun
>create the best battlerifle, FAL a shit Belgiumniggers go jack off to severed African hands somewhere else
>so good at military invention the US and Russia race to kidnap as many of their scientists as possible
>creates an MBT everyone wants
meanwhile France
>made their own MBT because they're too stubborn to buy Leopards; nobody wants them
>can't even produce a modern rifle, hasn't had the capability to even repair their rifles for decades
>has to ask Italy for help
the fact that France of all fucking people did the impossible, swallowed their pride, and adopted a German rifle should tell you it's over.
Italian guns are pretty good. They're really good at shotguns, pretty good at pistols, not that great at rifles. Not that their rifles are bad, just other countries do it better.

Best in Europe apart from possibly the British. Also this large industry has allowed them to have the most powerful land force on the continent ignoring Russia.

Yeah

To be fair, Trumps wife is an ex whore.

Yeah, but they didn't have to go and buy a German gun. That's just embarrassing.

ITAR free

>There is so little parts commonality between the Rafale M and the others models that it might as well not be a Rafale
Lies. M has different landing gear, sturdier rear frame with sturdier hook and a build-in boarding ladder and that's it. More than 95% parts commonality with C. In comparison F-35 variants are only 30-40% in common

Attached: PC plan works.jpg (314x587, 53K)

Not even a frog, but whoever used this to brag is a retard

>1,900,000 captured

Well it's a valid political reason

It's by far the best in Europe and the use of French equipment by the french military is more than just a patriotic vanity project as alot of it is actually world class and economically viable.
One of the greatest travesties of the 20th century is the Suez Crisis especially for european arms industry.
If Britain had stuck with the French rather than crawl back to the Americans (not that they economically had much choice) their arms industry might be far stronger and more developed than it is today. Would have been awsome to see a FAMAS SA80 hybrid or a Europfighter Rafale. The fact that the SA80 has to be given as military aid in the majority of countries that use it rather than sold is telling.
For France suez allowed them to pursue their own arms industry more vigeriously especially with third world buyers thanks to francafrique (FAMAS actually sold to lots of Francophone countries rather than had to be given away) but also without britain ment that full military independence from america would be impossible. Berlin Plus is most detested by France who wants a complealty independednt European defence programme that does not rely on NATO.
By far the biggest looser though was the USA. Not only had it shat on its two major allies but France would leave NATO compleatly by 1967, britain became politically neuterd relying on the US arms industry which only trengethed its military industrial complex, Nasser had nationalised the canal because the US had cut development aid to egypt, and Nasser would still pivot to moscow despite Eisenhowers best efforts. The resentment from this cannot be understated. France hated the US for a time (and still do to an extent) and this has bled into the rest of europe. Britain (who had experience) refused to help the Americans in veitnam which could have helped prevent or at least supress to THE american desaster of the 20th century.
Ultimatly Suez strengthed French military arms industry but also severly limited its full potentual.
