It would be a M305B (chink 18.5" M1A) + 4 5/20 mags with a scout optic mount and a vortex crossfire on that. The total would be $1209.10 CAD after tax. Should I go for that or do I just buy a used VZ-58?
Careful with new production M305s. I heard those bolts are kind of screwy. Try to find something like a 2007 production on CGN EE. I do understand the appeal of running the red dot on a scout M14 clone. Go on Canadian Gun Nuts battle rifle forms and read the sticky on tuning Norc M14s.
>match grade spring guide rod >barrel shims >replace the crappy chinesium stock with USGI wood or fiberglass stock.
I haven't really used it much but I should start more
Joshua Cruz
The guys on that forum piss money away on guns, put like 20-100 rounds through them, and then fire sale them on the EE. Keep your eyes peeled for deals
Cameron Evans
You know AR10s, VEPRs, and PTRs exist, right?
Dylan Walker
Those are prohib in Canada
Owen Martinez
Can't you just buy a genuine Springfield SOCOM M1A for pretty close to that?
James Rivera
Are you shitting me? They're around 2500 for the 22" ones and I'm pretty sure the SOCOMs cost even more
No lol. M1A is 2k+ chink one is 500 bucks if you buy a used one (the post 2014 ones have shit bolts that will explode on you after 200 rounds)
Adrian Roberts
>M1A is 2k+ There are several in my area for under $1300, even less if used. Where are you located?
>the post 2014 ones have shit bolts that will explode on you after 200 rounds Again it's a shit gun, why bother spending money on it? Chinese make guns like they make cars, baby formula and pet food.
Why would anyone want to buy something like the failed abortion that was the M14? Buy a FAL, faggot.
Jonathan Gomez
my chink sks has lasted over 2K rounds by now so I had thought that the m305s would be on par with the type 56s. Also use your eyes I live in canada and new M1As are 2K+ and used arn't much cheaper. I'd rather just buy a BCL-102 at that point.
I live in canada... if I could choose any autoloading 308 id go with a g3 and not a shit m14
Landon Howard
Have you ever fired a G3 clone? The M14 is more fun and just as accurate.
Thomas Harris
>my chink sks has lasted over 2K rounds by now so I had thought that the m305s would be on par with the type 56s. WHat makes you think they used the same ANYTHING between the two, including steel
