The M1A2 Abrams

Thanks Jow Forums

T-90

T90 obviously but i have a soft spot for the T72 and it's variants.

T80=T90>=T72-T64.... pretty much equal shit.

T90M>T80U=T72B3M>T90A>T72B3>T80B

T80BVM instead of T80U* and T80 instead of T80U*

Depends.Which one throws it's turret the farthest?

T-90MS > T-72B3 (because it’s cheap and effective) > T-90 (just because it’s good) > T-72B1MS (because of that rear camera) > T-80UK > T-14 > T-72B2 > T-72B > T-72A > T-72 Ural >T-64

The ones with a thermal sight, so the T-90A/T-73B3.

The wooden log of course

T-64BV, T-72B3M, T-80BVM, T-90M.

It Will take 595 years for it to be put in Service

Probably the newest T-72B variant, which is the T-72B3M with independent thermal viewers, new carousel for long-rods, new gun drives and stabilizers etc.

Keep in mind the T-90 is just a T-72 variant, and not the latest or most capable one either.

>It's an actual T-72M1 with the original 1970s Soviet tier gun drives and worst version of the 125 mm gun..

Lmao, what a shit upgrade.

Tbh, PT91M (export version for Malaysia) beaten both T-90, Oplot and chinkshit in the trials. This caused so much butthurt that even twenty years later ruskie are triggered by the mere mention of PT91.

What are the exceptional features of M model, that placed it above any mongol tank at time?
>new turret drive and proper gun stabilisation
>slovakian improved 125mm
>indigenous ERAWA and CERAWA armor, capable of defeating a shaped charge warhead with precursor
>French FCS, that ruskies only recently copied
>proper powerpack instead of legacy T-34 engine
>secure comms

Simply, an ideal example of European cooperation.

please cockhole, triple layering blast cords without any proper rnd base is not proper armor

The T-90 series with the angular welded turret is the best one.

I heard the T-64 is actually a better tank than the T-72 but the T-72 is cheaper and simpler

What?

Yes I know there is.. Polish?.. In that pic, but it's not my pic; I just saved it because of the size and weight comparisons were handy.

This is true, there’s a reason they exported the T-72 to whoever would take it but kept the 64 for themselves

Its much more expensive and is only marginally better than the T-72, not to mention the fact that it was virtually unsuited for service until the T-72 was already in production.

They were harder to build, it wasn't because they were much better.

>I heard the T-64 is actually a better tank than the T-72
You heard wrong. T-64 had pretty much reached its upgrade limit in 1985.

Poolandish "education". Your nobility was driven out by a mob of peasants.

Attached: Facial_Chronicle_-_b.10,_p.049_-_Tokhtamysh_at_Moscow.jpg (438x796, 138K)

still taken Moscow

It wasn't a military takeover at all, more like a foreign delegation invited by false monarch who were btfoed to oblivion by locals. Polaks otherwise are mad that Russia held their country for how many hundreds years? Lmao

>taken Moscow
In what siege, lol? Your nobility just walked in taking advantage of the political vacuum and stayed for a while after which they were driven out by a mob of literal peasants. Meanwhile, in just about 150 years Poland effectively disappeared from the map of Europe, and Russians actually did take Warsaw in an actual military siege. In two days.

>Poles kept the shitty old PT-91s for themselves while selling the better ones
are Poles retarded?

Not to forget that Poland never invented anything and that Europe when Poland wasn't a thing was it's highest point

t-80U = t90 depending on exact upgrades
t80B < T80U
T72B3 is kind of equal to t80 U but abit inferior, depending on upgrades, t64
T90 A is probably the best all around
also T90 MS is probably the best tank in the world right now or atelast top 5

Don't forget this utter pwnage:
>On the morning of 17 May 1606, ten days after Dmitry's marriage to Tsarina Marina, a massive number of boyars and commoners stormed the Kremlin. Tsar Dmitry tried to flee, jumping out a window, but fractured his leg in the fall. He fled to a bathhouse and attempted to disappear within, but was recognized and dragged out before the populace by the boyars, who killed the tsar lest he successfully muster an appeal to the crowd.[6] His body was put on display and then cremated, with the ashes allegedly shot from a cannon towards Poland. According to Palitsyn, Dmitry's death was followed by the massacre of his supporters. Palitsyn boasted in his chronicle that "a great amount of heretical blood was spilled on the streets of Moscow."[7]

>His body was put on display and then cremated, with the ashes allegedly shot from a cannon towards Poland.
>the ashes allegedly shot from a cannon towards Poland
Fucking Russians know how to have fun.

Better tank equals better tank. Base T-72 is better than base T-64. Being a clueless retard that you appear to be, what you mean with "T-64" is actually called "T-64A".
Learn the fucking difference between Object 432 and Object 434, you dense fucking retard.

Attached: t-64.jpg (960x622, 158K)

Here's a section from a book on the T-64 showing how the Soviets rated different tanks over time. Anyway the T-64BM Bulat is the most aesthetic tank to ever exist so I vote for that.

Attached: Screenshot from 2019-07-03 09-18-23.png (669x145, 49K)

No one is talking about the base level tank because no one will see the base tank on the battlefield you retard. You can bet your ass however that if I faced a russian BTG I'd much rather see a T-72 variant peak over a crestline than a 64.

Poorlak pls.

That only applies to the bullshit model you sent Malaysia.

Your domestic PT-91s never got the upgrades to the gun or gun and turret drives.

>T72B3 is kind of equal to t80 U but abit inferior,

Kinda of a dumb statement considering the T-72B3 has substantially better fire control and modern electronics as opposed to a clunky Soviet vacuum-tube based "computer" which can't even be called a fire control system.

Always interesting to see these sorts of things. It seems to me that both sides overestimated the enemy's equipment. Got any more?

>No one is talking about the base level tank
T-72 is still better than T-64, since the latter reached its limit in the mid 80s and T-72 is still being upgraded to this day. Certain T-64 variants were better than certain T-72 variants, but that is that. T-72 as a whole is an infinitely better tank.

Attached: t-72b3m (6).jpg (1280x853, 326K)

>since the latter reached its limit in the mid 80s and T-72 is still being upgraded to this day
The reason the T-72 is still being upgraded is because the factory is located in Russia. If it were the other way around and Ukraine made the T-72, it would be the same situation, but with the tank models substituted.

So why did Ukrainians go with developing T-80 instead of T-64 only introducing marginal upgrades to the latter, genius? Go read a book you fucking clueless idiot. T-72 is being upgraded because it has room for it.

Attached: t-64bm1m.jpg (1200x800, 194K)

I cant say anything about performance, but looks-wise the best variants are the T-64´s/72´s with the Kontakt-1 ERA.

Attached: T-72BV_gecol.jpg (3504x2336, 1.18M)

>So why did Ukrainians go with developing T-80
Because they made the T-80UD in Kharkov, along with the T-64. And it's a more modern tank then either the T-72 or the T-64.

My question is which one holds the record for farthest turret toss? I'd imagine it would be the variant with greatest internal ammo storage and possibly the lightest hemispherical turret. Perhaps an early 72? Anyone have the data handy or memorized?

Attached: 1297541767064.jpg (2592x1944, 777K)

T-64 by far.

Think you might be right; lighter tank with more ammo. I thought the 72 carried more at 1st. I don't know that the T-64 has seen that much combat really, if the T-80 retains those characteristics maybe its the true record holder.

>41938192
Literally my second phrase. Learn to read, nigger. Or stop begging for attention.

Unless someone broke its 2014 record of something like 74+ meters, it's T-64 by far.
>I don't know that the T-64 has seen that much combat really
Where have you been in the last 5 years?

Attached: t-64bv (7).jpg (1600x1067, 899K)

Funny how the tanks disappeared from Donetsk front as soon as the first Javelin made it to Ukraine

Alright, my new take:
T-90M > T-80BVM = T-72B3 obr.2016 > T-72B2 > T-90A > T-72B3 > T-80U > T-72 obr.1989 > T-72BA > T-80BV > T-72B1 = T-64BV > T-80B > T-72B > T-64B > T-80 > T-64A > T-72A > T-64 > T-72 Ural

>T72B3 > T90A
why?

Attached: DSqnLzb.jpg (3041x2070, 696K)

I remember reading that a T-72AV had broken the record in Syria last year.

Attached: d7h9adf-3f0a31b2-6fa9-423d-a17f-f245ce414343.jpg (641x578, 55K)

So which versions are upgraded T72s and which versions are independent ones?

please reformulate.

Dilate

T-90 later marks have fantastic protection, but newer models of the T-80 are getting up to par (pic related). T-64 is probably still workable, but there's no getting around the fact that it's an old fucking tank. T-72 recent upgrades keep them competitive, but since the T-90 is functionally just a super T-72, I wouldn't put much stock in what a T-72B3 can accomplish versus a T-90AM.
Of course there's no getting around the glaring design flaw of keeping ammo in the crew compartment without any sort of blowout safety besides the turret itself. I would not discount any of these tanks as being "useless" or "harmless" especially in the role which tanks most often find themselves; shooting at and being shot at by things that aren't tanks.
