What is the most comfortable and ergonomic pistol and why is it the 1911A1?
I'll be honest I fucking hate my 1911, it's heavy, low capacity, I'm not really a fan of .45 ACP, and it's the only gun I own that has ever jammed. It doesn't jam frequently but it jams often enough that I don't carry it and wouldn't want to rely on it in a life or death situation.
All that said I've never held a gun that fits so well in the hand and feels so smooth and natural.
What the fuck is up with this?

Yup. I just googled 1911 and picked the 3rd picture because while I do have pictures of my own 1911 I don't want to sort through months worth of porn in my download folder to find actual pics of my gun and then name the file something clever before I upload it.
