basically a stalemate, except each side blasts one another with artillery. there's some Ukrainian celebrity who got elected to presidency who says that his biggest goal as president would be to end the war and achieve peace in the Donbass, so things could change.

look 'em up yourself, I remember there's some website that records military and terrorist actions around the world, but I've long since forgotten the address. you could probably find something similar in a few clicks.

Not alot past just artillery. Mostly stalemate and trench warfare now
Other than both sides unifying and professionalizing their armed forces. Ukraine with help from the west, and Rebels "coincidentally" getting older russian equipment.
US is set to send $250 Million in Lethal aid to the Ukrainian Army as well.
The Ukrainians definitely seem to have the upperhand now and have become more professional than the rebels have.
Only big changes is that Azov battalion is back to the front in Mariupol after training because they are now considered a Special Operations group in the National guard and are Mechanized infantry.
Also Ukraine is on track to modernize its military and join NATO by 2023 so that will change the balance of power in the region and perhaps deter Russia.
