The thing about HD is, you have to match the weapon to the circumstances and to personal preferences. I’m partial to my Redhawk, my wife prefers her P238, our son goes with either the Mossberg I gave him a few years ago or the AR he built. Depends on which is closer. All of those choices are objectively the right choices, because they reflect our preferences. Anybody who insists that there’s only one right gun for HD doesn’t know as much as they think they do. Most of them will get past that stage, the remainder will turn into those opinionated, ignorant fucks that you see holding court from a stool at one end of an lgs counter.
