Regardless I am still cooking up my PMC lore.
Since it's declining I'll give you guys the heads up.

Azure Private Military Contractor used to be as Anti-Pirate Freelance Organization.
At first they were responsible of safeguarding Mercantile and Non-Combat vessels both UAF and GGR despite both superpowers don't use mercenaries.
Corporations and other Independent Organizations gave them very positive reviews as most of them were former ex-military.
Azure PMC are well known to keep their identities hidden, if one of mercenary gives out his or her identity, He or She will be on their own.

Azure has it's own Naval Privateers but not very well known throughout the galaxy as they are small, but sometimes have Class 4 starships ranging from Frigates to Escort Carriers and Barges.
Unlike It's mercenary ground forces, sailors and marines don't need to mask their identities according to Hardrada Article (GGR) and also Nightingale Accord (UAF).
It's said that Azure privateers are less strict than its mercenary counterpart, however privateers have luxury of choosing their own training regime than mercenaries' formal training.

Safe to say that it's still on-going.
Bishopry of God and Teutonic Order formed uneasy alliance.
Tian are still keeping up with negotiations with both superpowers.
Teutons etched the orders to kill any Tianese on sight and sometimes attempt to capture.
UAF and GGR remained watchful eye on Tian but also kept strict watch both Teutons and Pilgrims.

I think a lot of it is the rangebans. There's been a lot of rangebans recently and that really hurt this thread. And I guess people like elf titties more than hard scifi.

But i did it all to bring the joy and excitement out of my time and my will to you all and it brought you all here on a long and wonderful ride. Children do not faulter now and do not let the light fade.

Honestly, it kinda gets tiring being the main guy that edits the wiki and posts the threads. It kinda feels like I'm in it alone.

If someone here wants to volunteer to keep posting the threads I'll keep editing the wiki.

Still around as well. Haven't really had much time for anything recently and I've been out of wiki ideas for a while now anyway. It's been fun while it lasted though and hopefully this isn't the end for Stellar Conflict.
If you make a page on the wiki I'll definitely drop by and read your writing.
I really liked your character development and how each character tied in to a larger narrative about the pre-expulsion world. For now I'd honeslty be ok with people dropping by the wiki to make a page here and there whenever they get inspiration. I think it would be a small way to keep SC alive even if the threads are gone for now.

Are Ballistic Knives useful at all in 2219? Saw they were pretty cheep on the holonet and I'm thinking of getting one.

Most Contractors and Privateers have those.
UAF's spec ops sometimes have them in stock.
Best ones are Luzon design because it's easy to snap it back and more versatile.

Don't listen to ballistic knives are a gimmick. Always have been, always will be. Contractors and privateers only use them because they make them feel like "oPeRaToRs" but in reality no military actually uses them. Spec ops will occasionally use them but it's redundant if you are already carrying a sidearm, and it takes up space you could use to bring a survival and/or proper combat knife instead.

If my guys are actually facing actually military force. We discourage ourselves not to use it.
Otherwise will be using it against raiders, pirates and other contractors.
I know for one fact that most felons, bandits and other criminal scums don't have luxury of buying body armor.
Believe it or not, I manage to slice and diced most outlaws and vicious criminals without breaking sweat.

It has force of 3.4k fps.
The handle has internal magnetic accelerator and there's chance that it might over-penetrate hull of space.
Unless you're in corvette or frigate then you're safe.

It depends on what model of ship. If it's armored or military you shouldn't be able to cause a breach. Even if you do, decompression isn't as bad as it is in the movies. Slap one of those puffy Dora the Explora stickers on it and leave it for the mechanics.

We've been to over 30 new systems. We're appart of the Federal Navy so our home port is in UAF territory in the Vega system, but we have run interdiction sorties in Reich space. My crew come from all over colonized space, from Sol holdouts to Trappist to the border worlds. I myself am from Sol, but I'd rather not talk about my past too much. Painful memories, I'm sure you understand.

Nowadays pacifying aggressors or criminals are no longer viable options.
I doubt in Sol System they sell non-lethal weapons, so as UAF beside less lethal stun gun.

All kinds really. Bounty hunters need a lot of non-leatrhal methods of taking down targets. My favorite are stun nets

Bounty hunters use all kinds of tools. It really comes down to personal preference. Some bounty hunters don't even use any tech and just wack their bounties with a large stick or pipe to knock them out. Some Don't give a shit about capturing ppl alive and use lethal force consistantly.

It's a Roosevelt class interdiction cruiser that's been stripped back for use as a long range exploration craft, with hangar space for 4 short range strike craft and 2 shuttles. It doesn't have as many armaments or hardpoints as other ships of its class due to the fact that they had to be taken out to save on mass. With the less mass it can make much further jumps without the added strain on the drive. Current crew is about 150 souls but we have space for approximately 300. We also run a generation 3 prismatic deflection shield to protect against micrometeors and cosmic rays. It being an older model of shield can take a little bit of punishment from autocannons and particle beams but anything more than that and we would need to run.

I've heard sad stories about that cruisers when their prismatic deflection shields got malfunction from nova heat.
I'm not well known with Fed ships, but what I least got is naval stories.
Also what kind of short range strike crafts you Naval cadres got?

In our hangar we have four F76 Hawkeye high speed strike craft for close range encounters, each equipped with a short range jump drive to close the gap between ships in a short amount of time. Those drives aren't very powerful and can only just go superluminal and are really only good for extremely short jumps. They're supposed to be able to get in and disable any long range weapons an enemy craft might have so the Artica can come in and finish it off.

Isn't suppose to be procured only for UAF's Orbital Forces.

They're doing fine out in deep space somewhere. Hopefully, they find a planet soon. What's the deal with California splitting into like 50 faction?

They've started to phase out the F76 Hawkeye in favor of the F83 Liberty Eagle. The LE is more of a multirole fighter while the Hawkeye is more suited for high speed interceptions. At least thats what I've seen of the two craft.

But those guys manage to kill higher ranking officer of Teutons.
Within few months later they were collecting Iron crosses like trophy kills.
I've also heard rumors those guys have their own class 5 coilgun weaponry.

I think whether and where we move will depend on how most of our regulars find out a new thread is posted. If most of us find out from the wiki then it's no problem. If most of us find out by browsing k then we cant move.

I think I'm fine with staying here. Jow Forums really isn't my speed and I'm not entirely sure they'd contribute anything of value. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know.

hiro and the new mods made it clear the nation wide rangebans isn't going to be lifted up anytime soon on here but for odd reason on Jow Forums it isn't effected since i was able to make multiple posts as a test for effect and it works from phone.

I once met a guy in the outer colonies who carried an old 91/30 he attached a thermal scope with a VI installed in it to it. Weirdest damn thing I've ever seen, he even programmed the scopes VI to talk in a females voice with a heavy Russian accent.
Dude claimed he got into regular shoot outs with pirates and gangs on some of the colonies, and had about 12 notches carved onto his rifle, but he was also drunk as fuck and looked like a man who was used to talking bullshit so I'd take that with a pinch of salt.
