It's not legally binding. They can ask you to leave if they notice but that's about it. My state allows military the same exemption as law enforcement in regards to carrying at schools, churches, courthouses, and other places you generally aren't allowed to CC. It doesn't specify that you have to be on duty either so I carry literally everywhere. Better to have and not need than need and not have you know.

Even when it is the right sign it doesn’t really do anything. At public schools in Mn the only persons legally allowed to have a firearm on a campus are LEO’s or an individual contracted to be there with a firearm. Yes I carry everywhere that isn't a %100 no-go zone, like a courtroom. In my state "no-guns" signs don't carry the weight of law, this is the case in most states, in the states where they do carry the weight of law they usually have to be a very very specific size, lettering, color, etc.
