Looking into getting the 5.11 RUSH12 since I've seen it praised as a good all-around EDC backpack. Too tactifag? Low quality? Fine? Help's appreciated. Also any items you've found essential and what you personally use for them.

I have a knock-off version of that pack (or very similar) and it's fine as a day pack. Plenty of space, could do with more internal structure/pockets.

I have a rush 12. Awesome backpack and very practical. Also too tacticool looking and kind of ugly. I would steer you to the new lv18 if you are looking to go more greyman, but if ur into tacticool then go for the rush12.

Here’s mine. I’ve attached a couple extra pouches to the MOLLE straps. It’s good to go to live out of for 1-2 night road trips, which I do a lot of. Holds up well. Buy in confidence.

Looks pretty sexy with the additions. Nice.

Yeah I'm not super into the looks myself. The LV18 is interesting but a bit too plain for me, not super into the greyman thing, though I don't mind a little bit of the aesthetic. Plus the MOLLE straps were interesting me on the R12.

Imagine wearing something so edgy everywhere

dont waste money on 5.11 backpacks

LAPG backpacks are better

I have the operator backpack and it fucking owns and cost half of what 5.11 asks

Yeah that's my worry but most 'normie' packs really put me off. I'd rather something tactifag like this or a decent rucking pack.

Can't get it in my sperg country without paying customs duty for import.

Also, this was another one of my worries. I've seen 5.11 get shit on around here. No clue if that's because of the tacticool-wannabe aesthetic or if they're genuinely a bad quality brand.

definitive boogaloo bag

its just extremely expensive for no reason. Its like a yeti cooler. You can get a cooler the performs better for less money

If you cant get LAPG in your country i would get the 5.11 though.

What's a good ruckpack?

While I'd love to save on money if there's literally no reason not to, it's not hat much of an issue right now

Also i just realized I put the thread title in the name field like a fucking retard

I've seen the Oakley Kitchen Sink and GoRuck GR1 / 2 / 3 recommended. The latter are pretty big, plain and come with MOLLE, the former has a whole bunch of shit just on it.

Pic related is the Oakley.

direct action is cooler

Thanks user I'll look into these

From what I'm seeing it's even more tacticool. Regardless, which one would you recommend? For curiosity's sake.
