I jack off to cuckold porn. Im not proud, but its just so fucking hot. It turns me on more than anything and excites me so much. It feels like when I was 11 and was rubbing my crotch against my pillow looking at bikini girl magazines. It makes my stomach tingle and my penis feel like heaven. I am a cuckold.

eyes closed dumbass

It won't ever happen. Any nation capable of space flight will descend into 3rd world status in the next 10 years were we will remain for the next 75 until we totally collapse and stay hunter gatherers until the planet is wiped out in a cosmic event because technological advancement will be impossible to redo as we have mined any resources you can get without high tech.

>Is that kid not blind from staring at multiple atomic blasts?

At least your specific fetish precludes you reproducing.

>What will space combat be like?

Nowhere near as cool as we all want it to be. It'll just be a bunch of Navy fags standing thousands of Km's out from each other launching missiles and shit while hoping their point defense guns keep them safe.

Anyone assaulting a planet will wipe out the defense fleet (if there even is one) and then launch precision guided munitions at the planet side defenses. Landing and assault craft would follow.

Please fucking die.

Any form of space infantry fighting will be problematic to say the least.

Aliens are multi-dimensional not from space.

Really janky combat between floating railgun platforms where soldiers seize other's spacecraft and weapons or destroy them. Basically a constant slew of near earth zero gravity piracy between powers and corporations with no accountability to the actors. Branches in the service will probably include hackers, space gunboats, static space stations, and seizure squads that take over satellites, platforms, and board.

Space will be the spookiest front of human combat ever. Once space travel gets cheaper there will be an explosion of shit being sent up, billionaires buying personal self sufficient space stations, openly weaponized spacecraft and satellites, and a grey area of multinational corporations will give near earth orbit a population in the 1000s that will eventually have a criminal class selling captured equipment and satellite services and this criminal underground will be used as a front for war.

Have none of you used a modern welding mask? They have existed for 20+ years now. It has a layer of liquid crystal that turns black instantly. So you don't even need to flip down the mask. You just start welding and it goes dark in 0.01 seconds.
I do wonder if seeing the first 0.01 seconds of a nuclear blast would still blind you.

>""""""""""""""""""""space""""""""""""""""""""""

There will never be space war beyond the basic level of ASAT weapons we currently have.
Space travel will not get cheap enough for large amounts of missions or space based infrastructure.
There will be no magic new technology.
Humans will destroy industrial civilization through overshooting our resource base and subsequently collapsing into a dark age.
Space is a spook.

Yawn

The shuttle was designed to provide heavy lift capability and to recover and service orbital infrastructure, low pricing was ditched early on.

>India surpasses Russia in launches per year.

You have six months left at most slavboo. Enjoy it, because those tears will be sweet when America puts the first feet on the moon in the new millennium.

I wish I shared your optimism, but at the current rate of advancement and automation I think the techno-NWO is unstoppable. The surveillance state is already establishing the mechanisms to automatically preserve the powers that be, so the descent of the average man to squalor will just make getting us out of the way easier.

Are they even atomic? Couldn't they just be the solid graphite rods of god or something similar? Atomic blast aren't the only things that can make a mushroom cloud. Something as relatively simple as a volcano or large amounts of traditional explosives like the Halifax explosion make them.

Combat of the expanse seems pretty plausible. Really the biggest issues when it comes to the expanse is the Epstein Engines that power pretty much every ship is pretty much physically impossible, but that really doesn't do much for how the combat is portrayed.

Here's a good video breaking down space combat in the expanse: youtube.com/watch?v=YS4vzoQm_xw

when I imagine space warfare this webm sums it up for me lol

>china taking everything

What the fuck is going on in the USA that they aren't going Coldwar 2.0 with chinks?

Everything is way too co-dependant.
If the U.S. stops buying chinese shit their economy would collapse. If China stops sending shit, cost of products would skyrocket.

Principality of Elon soon

Attached: 452352345253.jpg (651x450, 93K)

There's too many blues. Is that large bar SpaceX, China, or Japan? I know SpaceX gets a bunch of govt funding to do space stuff but I wouldn't be surprised if china was GROWING LARGER

Thats SpaceX taking everything, China is the slightly darker one thats not quite as dark as Japan.
Whoever chose the colors for the graph was an idiot. 4 fucking blues?

he's in space, retard

Like Star Wars

But would you even be affected by it? Even if your in low orbit?

It really is. They might give up cheap shit but we still own and control a lot of specialty industries like aviation and areotech that can't just be developed overnight. Unlike the russians who wanted to make russian planes better than american planes, the chinese are content to copy american tech even if its years old and far too expensive, rather than pay the massive cost it would take to build their own aviation industry.

It is coldwar 2.0 however. They watch us and we watch them. We build our tech up and they wait for someone to sell them a copy of it. I've spoken with intel officers about it and the entire game is striking first but only if we knew they were gonna strike. So in any event if the chinks finally do press the red button we'd want to know three days in advance so we can nuke them first. It would look like we swung first but in a game of MAD reading your opponent and striking first can make a difference. For all we know the US has some iron dome shit that protects it from ICBMs.

>The Forever War
So much this.
Logistics wins wars and when your frontline is 3 dimensional and spans hundreds of light years things get weird fast

>that first bit with the slow motion
thats some serious gun porn
need to go change my shorts

It won't be like anything.

Space combat is a physics problem on a scale that humans can barely understand and computers struggle to keep up with. You can't dodge, that costs energy and is also likely to kill your human occupants and break your ship with the acceleration. You can't hide, stealth in space is impossible if you're any warmer than, say, the freezing point of various atmospheric gases (this hasn't stopped people from coming up with various "heat sink" ideas to keep an object from radiating). Because of the time scales involved it's quite possible both parties involved kill each other with great orbital shotgun blasts in the projected path of their targets. Or, y'know. Lasers, I guess.

the earliest space combat will probably be scientists with knives, because that's all they will have. The ruski got the basedez maks, but who wants to depressurize everything?

Attached: old-hickory-cleaver-stump.jpg (800x450, 145K)

It could be like naval warfare from WW1. Planetary wars fueled by interplanetary shipping, and 'submarines' that can keep themselves cool and move without heat just launch missiles at supply ships. Have the submarines remote piloted so they don't even need to be warm. Just ships filled with rockets.

>basedez
I got caught by the filter. Can't believe it.

how am I supposed to talk about pic related?

Vacuum welded parts in your gun
Over heating creating cook offs and warming metal
Lubrication freezing
Carbon and water from ammo freezing up the gun
Gas operated guns being unreliable

Russia - unless they seriously change shit - definitely
Chinks - unlikely. Unlike USSR, the Chinks didn't fall apart and still have the means to keep the country together with force. They have resources and a growing industrial complex.
Also very likely that they would buy up whatever would be left of the Russian programmes.

BTW There's also Japan and Best Korea. Both capable of launching a satellite, albeit small, if the major players would fall, they would have a good opportunity to grow.
Japs have the needed industrial complex, Norks would have to build that up first.

What are they fighting about? Whether traps are gay or not?

It'll be fucking A E S T H E T I C

Attached: 1477639065855.jpg (1280x1516, 527K)

Mars is definitely within reach with current level of tech.
Would it be stupidly expensive and kinda pointless to keep sending humans? Yes. But it's not impossible.
We might even be able to colonize and do some terraforming. But again - probably pointless in the long run.

Why does the butt of the gun say toward enemy?

The entire series would have worked ( with minor non plot critical changes) if they used realistic plausible technologies.
The thing that really infuriates me is that even with their ability to propel fuel at relativistic speeds they seem to generate so little heat that radiators are not mentioned.

>The entire series would have worked ( with minor non plot critical changes) if they used realistic plausible technologies.
literally the entire plot of seasons one through three is magic alien space jizz that turns people into zombies and communicates instantaneously regardless of distance

literally the entire plot of the rest of the series involves space hitler snorting alien jizz and starting a war with dark matter ghosts

the epstein drive is not the least realistic part of the expanse, it's literally just a fusion drive

I'm fine with alium shit with unknown (but speculated and extrapolated from known) physics.
My problem is they say it's a fusion rocket with absurd power output ( accelerating at 10+ G for days/weeks) but never mention the fuchhuge radiators or some other kind of cooling system which would be required for that.
Also that story of Epstein discovering this super powerful physics breaking design by pure chance and dying because of it sounds stupid as fuck.

Epstein drives should have been alium tech and should have only appeared with the laconians

Space to space conflict would likely be similar to naval conflict with directed energy weapons at huge distances, think Casaba howitzers

Daily reminder that Soyuz has the best safety record per flight and has been the only human rated spacecraft which can dock at the ISS for almost a decade now.
Tl;dr, don't shit on the Soyuz, buddy.

no bullet drop or loss of velocity.
otoh there will be hardly any need for firearms outside of espionage and infiltration, as most warfare would be determined by who saw who first in the void of space, kind of like with submarines.

Jesus every thread.
>Vacuum welded parts in your gun
Requires very clean, unoxidized surfaces of similar metals and is barely an issue anyway. Not to mention easily avoided.
>Over heating creating cook offs and warming metal
Open bolt guns exist. PCT guns exist. Split chamber guns exist. And you still have the same thermal mass. Your average rifleman doesn't carry enough ammo to make cook-off a significant issue.
>Lubrication freezing
Vacuum lubricants are already in use and well known.
>Carbon and water from ammo freezing up the gun
No.
>Gas operated guns being unreliable
A 0.05% increase in relative pressure is nothing. Round to Round will vary more than that.
It has arrows. Its dumb but they're there.
