I'm the second M16 you mentioned. I'm planning on getting a pair of 20 round mags and jungle taping them together.

they're not exactly the cheapest shotguns unfortunately. Mine's kinda beat up and I still paid over 600 for it. Plus it's a good idea to get new springs, a new friction piece, and a screwdriver kit. Learn to take it apart and clean it all the way through and use grease to lube and it should run like a top.

They are very nice, get one.
I've only been collecting seriously for about two years.
I'm working on that, I need to fill out my WWI collection.

It's decent for a sheet metal 1950s service rifle. I get 2-3MOA with nice 7.62x51mm like Hirtenberger surplus.

they were imported. they were made in california, then japan, then england. the new (fake) armalite then tired to bring it back with the ar180b, a plastic abortion. brownells recently started making moderinized ar180 uppers. they only fit on ar15 lowers but the idea is the same.
$1700 is pretty much the ceiling for one right now for a costa mesa or howa, $1100 for a sterling is more reasonable for a shooter.

I need to get a modern rifle and pistol, looking into getting an RDB because I like bullpups which leaves me with chinkshit or spend another $1000 on something else. Then I think I've made up my mind on either a Walther P99 or a CZ Shadow.
