Midlength vs carbine length
midlength, duh
Pistol length 300 aac blackout
Once the next ice age comes you'll wish you had a carbine length gas system.
Midlength if you're getting a 14.5" or a 16".
But you really shouldn't get either, 10.5" and 20" are better.
Mid-length performed better at low temperatures (-60F) in Crane's test.
14.5-16", middy is master race.
Taliban 12 o’clock 800 meters. Good luck.
Get a gun that isn't finicky about it's gas system. Seriously if you're worried about the reliability of the system get an AK or something.
Your 2" isnt going to make a difference.
>Engaging with rifles at 800
The barrel length of your 5.56 is the smallest fucking problem here. I'd really rather pick up my much better rifle in the form of a goddamn radio and have indirect fire or CAS vaporize them.
5.56 at 800 yards has the rough ballistic equivalent of a light .38spcl load, you've got a lot more problems than barrel length here
That is correct. Why doesnt this person have friends? Where is the .50? Where is the support? Does no one have a fucking MK19? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
ask me how I know you've never shot a gun before
Because 14.5-16", middy is master race.
Because you never hit 300 in qualification? Your range’s max is 600?
>556 is a varmint round
>not wanting it to explode and yaw on impact
>risking a 22 cal icepick ever
20" every time.
Do NOT like anime catgirl Willy Wonka.
16 vs 18 correct answer is 20.
14.5 carbine. My experience with mid length 16in have not been good. Tons of short stroking. My 18in middy was nice and reliable though.
This guy fucks. If you want short, go balls deep.
>16 only exists because of the GAYTF
Neither, rifle length is best length.
