Zeroed this vortex SPARC red dot I bought this his weekend, put about 200 rounds after zeroing to break it in and it holds it’s zero pretty well

Why would you shoot like that? Pop a magazine in one part of the target. Then pop another magazine in another part of the target. The trick is getting tight groups in the capacity you expect to use.

Only shot paper, but I finally got to put some hollowpoints through both of my handguns. Both has zero issues cycling them. Anyone else notice less recoil when using hollowpoints?

that's way more dependent on the loads, good hollow points should burn quicker and be hotter loaded so they for sure expand.
There should be more recoil.

Did a mini match with my buddies. Shot a stage with a walther/umarex made 22 mp5, and the other stage was just static steel with whatever handgun we wanted, which I used my usp 9 expert. Then we fucked around with whatever we brought, so I ended up shooting some sort of 1911 in 9mm, my m9a3 which I'm selling soon, and my 4006 shorty forty. I actually also brought an sp5k, but we decided that the 22 would be easier to fuck around with in the match. As much shit as people give umarex, the 22 mp5 ran perfectly fine and was a blast to shoot.

Was also peered pressured into signing up for a match. Never done actual match before.

Interesting. I only noticed it in my Makarov, maybe the cheap steel case I normally shoot just has a lot.

Nothing today, but I shot for roughly six hours on Saturday. It was a handgun practice class, and I was shooting my S&W 642 because it's what I carry. Did pretty good from what I was told, although by the end of the class the web of my right hand was feeling sore.
