If you were a Third World country, who would you get military advisors from? The Soviet Union or the United States

Whoever is in our budget so most likely the Russians.

China.
>greater industrial power
>man power
Qantity has a quality of its own. Not to mention the absolute state that the US military is in. When hypersonic missles are available China will move to take Taiwan. The American military hegemony will be over within 10-15 years. Thanxs jews

The U.S.

>All countries supported by Russia were shit, stayed shit, or got even shittier.

Japan, S. Korea, The Flips, Jewistan all got better. Literally everyone else stayed bad or got worse.

Oh boy, here we go again.
Can't wait for the flood of "China numba wan" posters, pissed off anti-Chinafags and schizos who think China is going to enslave the whole world.

>Qantity has a quality of its own.
*Cough*winter war*cough*

Neither. If I'm a third world country and I need military advisor(s) I'd pick them from
>UK
>australia
>israel
>rhodesia

Mainly, UK for overall military structure and command, australia for its, israel for both covert action, intelligence and national mobilization and rhodesia for counterinsurgency tactics and doing the most with what little you have

russians coz the US will sell you out.

Tianamen square 1984, winnie the pooh, fulong gong, gay

This

Why the fuck would you need Rhodesia for counterinsurgency when the UK and Australia already exist with the SAS/SBS

Fuck off chang.

PS, If your right, please don't let the kikes take over the east.

Lol have you read up on how piss poor the SAS performed in Malaya and Borneo? It was a miracle that they even managed to resolve it

Everything is simple if you have money to throw around. What Rhodesia bring to the picture is on how to develop COIN doctrine with nothing but old/thirdhand/civilian equipment

Soviet-era doctrine was outdated, even in a conventional sense. Perhaps the USSR could win a conventional victory, but none of those smaller countries could win one. The proof is in the following:
>The Six Day War (maybe, I don't know how much Soviet doctrine influenced the Arabs at this point)
>Yom Kippur War (definitely showed deficiency in Soviet kinds of warfare)
>Toyota War (in the equipment sense, the Libyans were using obsolete equipment, but they weren't using it against a modern force, either)
>Iran-Iraq War
>Desert Storm
etc.
Other than the AK, the rest of the Soviet arsenal had a bad performance history. In fact, the AK isn't necessarily the best in the strategic sense (at least the 7.62, as attested by the fact that the Russians moved over to the 5.45 after seeing the 5.56), it's just the best option for a lot of the groups that use it.
Russian doctrine (and probably equipment) isn't outdated now, but examining nations which aligning with the USSR, it seems they accomplished little in conventional strategies. Countries that had some Soviet involvement like North Vietnam had success based around homegrown political and military ideas.

downsald trump

Rhodesia

Soviet Union easily. They promoted secularism and materialism, while the US supported all sorts of religious fanatics and are good ally and a friend of Saudi Arabia to this very day.

ORANGE MAN BAD

>Soviet-era doctrine was outdated
Spoken like a true brainlet. Implying arabs used soviet doctrine

>The Soviet Union or the United States
Russia. I would get advisers from Russia.
Advisers from the US would be almost entirely useless as third world countries often don't have the cash to fight a war US style.

>If you were a Third World country, who would you get military advisors from?

You don't.

You use a percentage of your GDP to bribe a few US congressmen, and CEOs to leave you alone, or to bomb other people for you.

This

This. The Philippine president now sides with China after the American ambassador went to him after the election and told him how he should move as a puppet of America. That is why he called Obama as a son of a bitch.

probably Russia, never china

>The American military hegemony will be over within 10-15 years. Thanxs jews
its already over, it died in the 90s.

The OP didn’t ask about Russia, they asked about the Soviet Union.

Ever heard of MiG diplomacy? Also, this thread is comparing the U.S. to the Soviet Union, not Russia.

Again, Russia the Soviet Union.

i dont think rhodesia will offer much help if theyre either gone or in a civil war

the entirety of his military and populous hates him now though because everyone realizes that china is just trying to outright rob them. they arent even being subtle about it.

You know Finland lost, right?

Well comparing those lists, there's more countries from the U.S. influence that are doing well now days compared to the Soviet's list which is mostly shitholes.

no its because China is ok with outright murdering anyone involved with drugs and America has to pretend it hates it and wants others to keep that same appearance

>If you were a Third World country, who would you get military advisors from?

Soviet Union.

Someone has been playing Tropico

>hates him
>still has the highest approval ratings
>still has the support of the entire military, he upped their salary after getting elected

Nice try America but China has the support of Philippines.

I would love a book or story of game where commie Russia/China takes over japan and some of the east and you as an American/Japanese freedom fighter have to smuggle guns in from Alaska and essentially be a Japanese version of Red Dawn.

>his military
Loves him. He keeps making moves to improve their quality of life and equipment. He's quite literally a god to them atm.
Civvies are a mixed bag because he's hard anti-drug so the cartels hate him, the dopeheads hate him and the people he kills generally have extended families that hate him. That said, he's still ultra popular and gets shit done.
Or it's because the US demanded that Duterte step in line and stop going after drug trade, which Duterte pulled the ol' Trump and told them they should fuck themselves and made moves to support/seek support from China. It's fuck all to do with his methods when the US supports Saudi Arabia, which does way worse than Dirtybert, and everything to do with his lack of respect for an authority that has done fuck all to support his nation in the past.

>US sells you put
>Forget the USSR will sell you out too, but instead of replacing culture with consumerism it does it with shittier Soviet aesthetics
Theres a reason why cyberpunk is a better aesthetic than "Iron Curtain nation #7"
