Buy a plate and stand that angles down correctly and better yet that has hinging to soak shit up a bit. If you have any kind of steel core realize it'll chew up your targets a good deal quicker and cause pocking pretty rapidly which can send shit back at you.
If you have the right target and ammo you can shoot at 20ish, but again, it's going to bang on plates hard if you're shooting 3100fps 5.56. wear ballistic eye pro and real clothes if you need to do this for whatever reason and an ipsc won't do.
