To start off, I've seen a lot of people in "loadout" and gear queer threads who may need a little advice on what are the basics for a prolonged emergency situation that becomes violent. So I'm gunna post some pointers.
Then I've seen some people posting that genuinely do not believe that the S could HTF. And in past threads people have asked me to share some of the economic many factors that could lead to a collapse. And then people asked me to copy and paste it so I put it in a google doc.
And then finally there have been many people who asked for and thanked me for a list of links to information, reading material, and PDFs that I have bookmarked, so I'll share those as well.
You need a rifle, a pistol, medical, hydration, a way to carry ammunition, and a way to carry supplies.
>rifles You need a semi automatic rifle in a rifle or intermediate caliber with detachable mags. You need a sling and a light in that order. Optics are very nice to have but are not necessary. The caliber should be one that you can store A LOT of.
>pistol You need a semi automatic pistol with detachable mags in 9mm, 40cal, or 45acp. Other rounds are either not as effective or with be cost prohibitive to store. You need a light and a holster. Optics again are nice but if things are bad enough to need a rifle, you will not need to rely on your pistol enough to need an optic. Put that money towards ammo, training, or rice and beans.
>medical You need an IFAK. People who tell you that you shouldn’t have medical supplies unless you are trained are the same people who say only cops should have guns. YOU SHOULD GET TRAINING, but you still need the supplies. Most IFAKs will be used ON YOU not by you. Tourniquets are necessary. Chest seals, gauze, H bandage, NPA with lube, duct tape, scissors, permanent marker, gloves, alcohol prep pads, and some other stuff. Do additional research, take a red cross class.
>hydration Clean water and a way to carry it. A way to purify it if you’re feeling frisky. There’s not much to this but it is extremely important.
>Plate carriers and chest rigs Plate carriers are good to have if you think someone is going to be shooting at you. That being said, they are heavy and bulky. To the point that they will always restrict movement and most people issued them will develop back problems. Chest rigs are much simpler. They are much cheaper, sometimes by hundreds of dollars, and do everything a PC does except hold armor plates. Personally, I bought a “slick” plate carrier that is as small as can be and bought a chest rig that fits over it. That way I don’t need to wear my PC if I don’t need to.
>(back)pack This should be a 1 to 3 day pack. It can also be your bug out bag. BOBs are far to much to get into, but it should cover food, water, shelter, and communication.
>Federal debt is higher than ever at 22 trillion >state debt is at all time highs >corporate debt is at an all time high of 6 trillion >consumer debt is higher than ever at 71 trillion >federal unfunded liabilities are higher than ever at 280-360 trillion >world debt is at all time high >number of zombie corporations (can't even pay the interest on their debt) is at an all time high >bond market has inverted, the best indication of recession/depression >stock market is a huge bubble >bond market is a huge bubble >housing market is a huge bubble >auto market is a huge bubble >everything is a bubble (literally, google "the everything bubble) >60% of American live in “asset poverty” (as of mid 2019) >25% of credit card holders are using credit to pay for rent and groceries (as of mid 2019) >small business employment is at 9 year low (as of mid 2019) >we are on track to make a record retail closings in a single year >housing sales are down >auto sales are down >record retail closings >class A truck orders plunge to record lows >all shipping is down in trucking, rail, air, and barge >interest rates artificially super low to encourage spending/taking out loans and debt >if there is a recession, they won't be able to lower rates enough to kick the can down the road like in 08 >low interest rates have encouraged debt but not real growth >great example is the stock buybacks (creating the huge stock market bubble we now have) >businesses didn't actually fix the problems that led to them needing to be bailed out in 08 (like debt and low earnings), they just bought their own stocks to make the company more appealing (and then increasing their debt even more) >same thing for banks, except now instead of debt, gambling on stock markets and giving out risky low interest rate loans, and fractional reserve banking, they also have "bail-ins" so they can literally take your money from your account
>people have bought homes on low interest even though they can't afford them (again, creating/reinflating the housing bubble) >students have gotten student loans they can't pay back (again...) >there is more USD than ever before >US consumers haven't felt the hyper inflation because it was sent overseas to foreign banks >if foreign countries decide they don't want USD anymore, the US will make Venezuela look fiscally conservative >if they forgive student loan debt, the economy will crash >if they raise the interest rates, the economy will crash (which they tried twice at the end of last year and we were literally days away from it all falling apart) >other economies could also start the collapse that will affect us >deutsche bank (and others) are insolvent, meaning that when one bank goes under it effects all the other, as well as businesses tied to them >China, our largest trading partner has likely already started their recession, which could spread to us or emerging markets >many emerging markets are in recession, like Argentina, SA, Turkey, and a few others, which could also spread to us >over half of US CFOs think there will be a recession this year >the number goes up even higher when extended into next year >boomers are now taking more than they are putting in >in less than a decade, social security will likely go bankrupt >the combination of that and more and more non tax paying immigrants (with no jobs or low paying jobs) will bankrupt us, and the economy will crash >the government didn't fix any of the problems from 08, they just injected the free money drug into the economy and kicked the can down the road >USD is completely fiat and is only used because of the oil trade >that is being threatened by China, Russia, and Iran >every country in the world is linked to the USD >if the dollar collapses, so does every economy in the world >most countries appear to expect just that
>many expect that a collapse of the USD will be used to eliminate gov's debt aka "the reset" >central banks have been buying gold and silver at record rates and keeping the prices artificially low with futures contracts ("paper gold") >JP Morgan is sitting on the largest silver horde in world history >the average lifespan of a fiat currency is 40 years >we went off the gold standard in 71 >there is a recession every 7-8 years on average >we are now in year 11 of economic "expansion" >it’s a bubble >the more we inflate it, the worse it gets >it's going to pop You should get ready.
I am a very active in the fish tank hobby, and have been for over 2 decades. As far as I have ever been able to tell, most of these fish pills are nothing more than excess people pills. I think pharma sells excess cheap to the agriculture & hobby sector. Fish pills would be my first go to for a SHTF situation. Get them all if you can. Most people are not aware of this, but should be.
>ANFO holy fucking kek. and there will be retards that will read these and save these images and think they are so enlightened, kek. get in sciencemadness if you want to make real explosives and not this faggy unstable, weak sensitive shit.
You can also make ammonal instead of anfo. I think you faggy americans have a commercial name for it, Tannerite i think. Here in europe terror groups (ETA, IRA etc) have always used it because it is easy as fuck to make, more powerful than anfo and also more sensitive, which is a good thing because if you knew something about amateur explosives you'd know that if you need 2 fucking lbs of Tannerite to detonate it, you're HE is absolute shit. Most (((totally legal hobby amateur people interested in energetic materials))) only need 1 or 2g of primer to detonate anything. Honestly i just dont see why anyone would use ANFO, not even mining companies use it. the only good thing about it is its stability over time
when i said it was unstable and sensitive i was talking about the HMTD not the anfo. Hobby totally legal amateur chemists like me who have spent years researching... energetic materials will NEVER use tatp or htmd, there are so many better alternatives...
Unless you just meant a power outage, not an EMP. In that case, I have a solar powered battery pack, which can power/charge my phone. And I can view my 90gigs of videos, pdf/books, and images on my phone.
Saved to pc. Printed. Laminated. Notebook placed in gun safe. Throw away phone with info like these on it, saved and charged each month. Have solar cells and a hand crank for charging.

It's not so much the phone that you would need to be disposable as the SD card.
