Military art

Post military artwork - usually in the form of depictions of medal-winners in action, or maybe pre-photo newspaper reports or just epic battle scenes from any age.

nevermind it is

>kill literally twice as many Union soldiers in virtually every major engagement despite having every conceivable disadvantage
>come within a hair of bringing the Union to its knees
>killed more US generals in combat than all other countries America has fought put together
>defeated the United States Army in battle more times than everyone else put together
>racked up an overall body count of US soldiers higher than anyone else the United States has fought and that record has stood for 150 years and counting
>biggest losers in American history

Corporal Bryan Budd, who was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross. Was found dead right next to three Taliban that he had killed.

>on 20 August 2006, Corporal Budd was leading his section on the right forward flank of a platoon clearance patrol near Sangin District Centre. Another section was advancing with a Land Rover fitted with a .50 calibre heavy machine gun on the patrol's left flank. Pushing through thick vegetation, Corporal Budd identified a number of enemy fighters 30 metres ahead. Undetected, and in an attempt to surprise and destroy the enemy, Corporal Budd, initiated a flanking manoeuvre. However, the enemy spotted the Land Rover on the left flank and the element of surprise was lost for the whole platoon.
>
>In order to regain the initiative, Corporal Budd decided to assault the enemy and ordered his men to follow him. As they moved forward the section came under a withering fire that incapacitated three of his men. The continued enemy fire and these losses forced the section to take cover. But, Corporal Budd continued to assault on his own, knowing full well the likely consequences of doing so without the close support of his remaining men. He was wounded but continued to move forward, attacking and killing the enemy as he rushed their position.
>
>Inspired by Corporal Budd's example, the rest of the platoon reorganised and pushed forward their attack, eliminating more of the enemy and eventually forcing their withdrawal. Corporal Budd susequently [sic] died of his wounds, and when his body was later recovered it was found surrounded by three dead Taliban.

Would be pretty hard to see/paint when the guys using it are 600 metres away digging a hole to china with their eyelids while calling in 2 fire missions and a JDAM on an inanimate bush that kinda looks like a person if you squint real hard.

Pic related is UKSF sigs btw.

>kill literally twice as many Union soldiers
Too bad the Union had 5x the free population and 20x the industrial capacity. That means the average Yankee had the economic output of four rebels and their slaves put together. I guess it pays to finish grade school.

Scots Guards flanking the Argentinian position during the Battle of Mount Tumbledown in the Falklands

i could imagine this shit in a frame in a trailer home somewhere.

>Major Kiszely, who was to become a senior general after the war, was the first man into the 4th Platoon position, personally shooting two Argentinian conscripts and bayoneting a third, his bayonet breaking in two.

I mean, this was the commanding officer so imagine what the men were doing.

The north had a less educated lower class. There is a lot more free time for studying when the crops grow themselves compared to a factory.

If theres one thing that made me hate the jews, its knowing that I risked my life and limbs for 4 years and killed probably innocent people, so they could get ahead with no skin in the game.

>germans won ww2 because they killed more people
>usa won vietnam because they killed more people
Why are southerners so dumb?

Because their elected officials cut education spending. Or they're on meth. Or inbred.
