Smoke-ful powder. Also called
>Oops! All smoke!

we won't find out until we have to shoot something in space.

Why does that cosplayer look so much better than the movie version of Rey? Not even just that she's hotter, but the clothing, hairstyle, and props look better too.

this is unironically a good point
care to elaborate?

that’s literally her you just can’t see her island genetics in a profile shot

It the Rey from disneyland

Probably low-cost precision missiles and interceptors to counter them.

I'm pretty sure that's the Rey who hangs around in the new Disney Star Wars theme park, so she's not exactly working off of a /cgl/ budget.

shoulder fired laser weapons so fucking powerful whatever the laser touches during its firing pulse is turned into gas plasma in an explosive fashion

>i love the smell of burning ozone in the morning

Someone please photoshop this

Electrically fired caseless ammo.

After a brief period of polymer, followed by a lengthier revisit to caseless, we'll be fielding railguns ala Mass Effect style small bullets with laser weapons in the support role.

White Powder.

Usually the park actors aren't hotter than the actresses in the film. She must be American instead of British.

Omfg who is this lass? Can you actually see her at Disney?

no no no, she wont fuck you

Throw enough cash she will.

Best answer. Looking forward to shooting down $15 billion planes with a $1 million hunk of metal

:)

>Plasma
we already have lots of plasma weapons, if you mean a gun that fires pure plasma they're useless past point plank range.
>laser
they're shit in dense atmospheres, might be used on high altitude planes and spaceships tho

with advanced in energy production and storage we'll probably see railguns\coilguns. personally i think it's gonna be coilguns where the projectile has no contact with the gun during acceleration (the barrel is bigger then the projectile) and the projectile is electronically steered by the electromagnets to hit some target that is spotted by the gun's sensors.possibly it would also fire ball projectiles that are spun to make them hit a target outside the berrel's normal angle range by using the magnus effect.
also we might see hybrids like a gunpowder berrel for acceleration and a electromagnet second stage for steering the projectile.

My wild bullshit guess is that her props and costume are meant to be seen up close and personal, something not necessarily the case on screen, especially when there's a lot of stuff going on

>What the next blackpowder of weaponry? Plasma? Laser?
Nothing. 100 years from now, we'll still use bullets aka solid projectiles. and they'll be propelled through chemical means.

sabot will make a comeback, we finally can manufacture things small and precise enough. they'll be propelled conventionally at first (see 7.62/.50BMG SLAP) but will eventually get into magnetic propulsion.

What’s the advantage of sabot over regular cartridges

Most English women look like hobgoblins, deal with it Bong.
