45 Super why not more popular?

It shuts up all critics of the 45 ACP. It delivers the big fat Bullet Bill boolit with gusto. What's not to love?

Don't need to have your tommygun rechambered

USP
>inb4 that one guy converted a .40 to a 10mm so my USP40 is a 10mm too

It can be shot out of a .45 auto with little to no modifications. HK USP’s are rated to handle .45 super out of the box.

As a 10mm fag, it doesn't have better muzzle energy, but it's possible to load heavier bullets, has a larger diameter, and can be used in most 45 ACP frames with a fully supported barrel and a sufficiently heavy recoil spring. If you have a gun model which supports 45 ACP but not 10mm (or even 40) then this is an option.

>"magnums" out of a semi-auto
retardation. JMB's 45 Auto is more than enough for a sidearm if you're putting rounds on target. if you want more power, get a revolver.

also not all 1911s are made the same, the spec chamber is not fully supported, and 45 super brass is expensive.

Nothing. In it's most common forms vs most common 10mm, it's worse.

Lack of availability.

I have a 5 gallon bucket full of 45 super brass, but I rarely use it. it's gotten pretty expensive
t. reloader

But my 2011 can hold 20 rounds of .460 Rowland...

lower chamber pressure so you don't have to worry about blowing your fingers off, greater bullet weight, more inertia, the option to shoot nice cheap .45, pistols with larger aftermarket. If you're only going to be shooting max loaded hot shit all the time, 10mm has the edge. If you want greater versatility, .45 acp/super has it beat.

Yeah. It's especially bad where I am, I can't seem to find it for love nor money.

there's a few places online to order it, but $$$$$
I only load it for the the occasional steel match, just to swing my dick around and smash plates
