Even places that weren’t isolated and flooded were suffering from looting as the general metro area was fairy lawless for about 10 days. They never had to shoot anyone, a group of 5 or so well armed guys tended to make would-be looters turn around real quick. But yeah. Some police eventually showed up and told them to surrender their firearms. Friend and his neighbors basically came together and told the police to fuck off and come back with a warrant.
