What's the Excalibur of firearms?

What's the Excalibur of firearms?

What godly firearm would the lady of the lake give Arthur, King of the Britons and his SEAL team of the round table?

1911 or SAA are the pistols that are the most legendary.

Garand and or 1911

There is no comparison.

>What's the Excalibur of firearms?

A Claudin Duelling pistol.

Or a manton

Guns destroyed the "legendary weapon" meme. You can have the fanciest gun in the world and still get easily wasted by a farmer with an old ak. There is no individual craftsmanship in guns that make any real difference in effectiveness. Bullet fires out of barrel, bullet hits target... bullet doesn't care whether the gun was handcrafted or made in a factory. Bullet kills anyway. Guns are the symbol of industrialization and mass production, defense for the common man. Firearms are antithetical to the idea of an "excalibur". If two guns fire the same round, the design of the gun doesn't matter once that bullet leaves the barrel.

the guys name was literally "god given"

We can't have a nice thread without some "well ackshually" butt pirate like you ruining it, can we

Stop being stupid and people will stop feeling the need to correct you.

King seemed to think it would have been the Colt Single Action Army. But he's a leftist cunt who got hit by a car, so what the fuck does he know?

BRNO firing 10k rounds, or overpriced Knight's Armament

in your heart, you know it to be true

Attached: glock_1911.jpg (640x480, 56K)

Can it be any other?

A bespoke gun firing bespoke ammo I guess? So a modern Excalibur would to my mind be some SOF sniper built from the ground up and firing fancy handloads. But that's kind of something that died in the 90s, since off the shelf rifles are so good these days that most SOF armorers dont bother to build their guns anymore. You dont get custom glass bedded printed-trigger M40s anymore, Marines scouts just buy M2010s and .300 AI rifles.

You guys are going at this all wrong. The Excalibur of guns is either one that has killed an immeasurable amount of people, or used by someone who was godlike in combat.
The M1917 used by John Basilone in Guadalcanal has the souls of thousands of Japanese soldiers flowing through it and the hands of the real life Captain America have clenched it. That's what I'd wager is the ultimate legendary weapon.

What about Simo's rifle?

Mosin Nagant M/28-30, with 259 gommie kills attributed to it

This is literally a 1911 with glock logos shopped on to it. Just get some glock stickers and you could atain this...

any weapons chambered in .338 excalibur

Trips of truth dictate that you have a point.

>What godly firearm would the lady of the lake give Arthur, King of the Britons and his SEAL team of the round table?

...

A hipoint chambered in 44 magnum, the knights hath become the homies of the poker table, problem solvers of the highest order

A GOD DAMN MARK FUCKING 23 SOCOM

Duh.

Good luck teaching them how to maintain it though.

There's a reason why Ian called it Rocket Surgery.

You're all missing the point, Excalibur looked like a nicely decorated blade, but it had magical properties

There's only one firearm in existence that has magic properties

Attached: Kraut Space Magic.png (863x378, 439K)

No you moron, this is the one Glock 1911 in existence, minted at Gaston's request and personally delivered to Paul Harrell, the only gunman powerful enough to wield its awesome might. By contract and by law, he can never display it publicly or make a YouTube video about it, and only the inner sanctum of illuminated gun users, which you obviously aren't one of, knows of its existence.

Learned abput a kickass dude today, thanks.

all the world war winning stopping power, reliability, and portability of a 1911 combined with the precise german fit and finish of a glock gmbh product? yea im going with this is excalibur

I think the real record goes to one of the MG-42s at Normandy,

>SEAL
why are niggers being seated at the table?

First time posting on this board, but how about some kind of pistol?

Post your model 10 then peasant.

does the gun that shot franz ferdinand count as a magical gun?

it's not like ceremonial weapons were actually used either right?

Anyways I think as long as it's gone through enough battles, it merits some sort of status.

Holy shit that might be the most powerful one in the history of mankind

>Guns destroyed the "legendary weapon" meme.

Not at all. you don't now enough about guns or their makers, the 17th/18th/19 century makers of brescia, Madrid or London, the truly hand crafted and mythical pieces that never miss. To go so would demand effort and a real love of firearms

The AR-15 of Truth and the Kevlar of Justice.

Disposable plastic and aluminium mass produced crap.

No, the AR-15 of Truth and the Kevlar of Justice SPECIFICALLY.

This.

It can and it is.

Some people might argue that the FGM-148 Javelin used to slay the Ratte is a holier relic.

An m16a1 with totenkopfs on it "go forth child of Britian and rule"

The big iron

The gun that fucked over the entire world.
I'd pay good money just to see the damn thing.

Remember swords (especially in that period) were effectively side arms and badges of status/rank due to their expense.
So it's logical to assume they'd be equivalent to a modern handgun.
And as far as handguns go there is really only one option, the greatest design ever created from which all modern handguns descend. Created by out lord and savior John Moses Browning, the 1911 shall smite thy foes.

This.

yeah, yo're right user. A single shot breech loading .308 rifle is just as effective as an M134 rotary gun, because they both fire the same round

Look, strange women lying on their backs in ponds handing out swords ... that's no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

>skinny killer

those guys were based, rip

An Excalibur of guns is one thing, but a real storied weapon would be the Durendal of guns.

>forged by Volundr
>used by Hector of Troy
>given to Queen Pethesliea
>changed hands for centuries
>Charlemagne gives it to best paladin, Orlando

Literally indestructible and could chop through mountains. Way cooler than some damp sword given by a lake-hag.

Drive the English invaders back to the sea

Lady of the lake would also probably hand you a few boxes of special ammunition as well.

Something that reflects the native culture, but is unique. Something that isn't intended for senseless pillaging, but the noble cause of defending The Kingdom. A finely crafted and though-out relic and symbol of a native hero and savior.

Personally, I'm thinking a custom AR-10 in 6mm Remington

Probably a gucci'd AR

>G3

A SAA with some of those 44 mag equiv 45 Colt loads

I agree.

In the category WW2 hanguns the Excalibur tier is surely achieved by the Sosso handgun.

It had 17 rounds, and features that were way ahead for its time.

also is very rare only 3 ever produced.

Attached: sosso.jpg (1600x1086, 152K)

going by this logic then surely it would be Gavrilo Princip's FN-model 10.
Plunged the world into 2 global wars and more than 100 million deaths.
Even has a bit of a mythical property to it when you consider that he only got a chance to take his shot by pure chance,
almost as if it was divine intervention.

Attached: gun that started ww1.jpg (1024x683, 71K)

Very true and very close to what the original story of Excalibur was. The real power wasn't its combat capability, but its political power. If anything, that gun is BETTER than Excalibur.

Also 200+ kills, very impressive.
