what wrong with your uzi

Sexy af ductape grip

it's to hold the pressure switch in place

Very weird taste to say the least. Nothing overtly bad though.

what model is your Ithaca? I have a '73 Featherlight "Deluxe" picked it up off some poor boomer for $400.

1949 Featherlight that the previous owner had cut to 18.5", re-crowned, and re-beaded. Found it on Gunbroker just a half mile away for $255.

damn bubbas. It would probably have cost a similar amount to get it re-barreled with a modern production barrel (the ones that come with scfrew-in chokes and a re-finish) but the trash of the gun world are too low agency for that.
In the next few months I'll have mine sent off to be rebarreled, see if I can put a Salvo 12 on the end. the old barrels obviously have fixed chokes, and my name ain't bubba.

never thought I'd say this but you actually need a modern pistol to go with this. AK is a good start for a fighting rifle.

Looks like you're missing the locking button for your top cover on the B1.

Why not. It's been a while and I've added a couple since the last time.

Are you the guy who bought that gun that one time?

I have a '56 featherlight at 19". Got it for $300cad. Not bad recoil despite being only 6lbs. Guy I got it off said he never shot it, dunno why, it's fun as fuck.

i have only pistols now

will get rifle soon

Attached: f_photo.jpg (3264x2448, 1.78M)

i dont have a picture but my grandpa bought one of those 100 dollar mosins before he died
its insanely inaccurate when fired
it came with one of those kits that included the bayonet

how do i make it more accurate? its still at my grandmas house like 30 min away but im sure she would let me do what i wanted to with it

forgot to mention that it came covered in cosmoline and the only reason i know that is because he asked me to drive him to where he bought it

>Call me a fudd one more time, i dare you.

It's grown to the point where I can't take a pic of them all at one time. Here is all the woody bois, not counting my pump shotguns or .22 bolty.
This pic is missing all my ARs, a pair of Vepr-12s, PTR91, 1911, glock26, snakarov, tec9, some other stuff

Attached: DSC_1074 - Copy.jpg (3000x1994, 1.96M)

Clean out the cosmoline, check the integrity of the stock for cracks and its fitment to the action. Look up shimming the Mosin-Nagant for relatively simple solutions to apply to your accuracy problem.

dont fuck with it, leave it as is. It's likely that the gun is more accurate than you can shoot it though, since you seem to be an extremely novice shooter and it's got very rudimentary iron sights. Learn the fundamentals of rifle shooting and just practice. Stretch the legs out on the gun, get it to 300+ yards. Once you get to be a good, consistent shooter, start experimenting with some different ammo types. See which kind the rifle shoots best with. Maybe even get into some handloading if you're passionate.

What should I get next , Jow Forumsunts ?

Try this; don't spend your money on guns. Save up, and move out of mommys house. When you turn 21, maybe look into a handgun.

A date.

Proper bed sheets would be a fucking good start, you disgusting weeb.

>What should I get next , Jow Forumsunts ?
A greencard.

im confident there arent cracks in the stock
how would i clean out the cosmoline and check the fitment to the action? im not hugely knowledgeable on guns and im trying to get better at shooting since there is a major hog problem in the area. forgot to mention that my grandpa also bought some really cheap dirty ammo for it which led to me having to spend like 3 hours cleaning out the inside of the barrel after we tried shooting it

i heard that they are way more accurate with the bayonet on them but i have never attached it because it wouldnt fit in the gun cabinet with it on and i also heard its insanely annoying to get off
alright so leave it as it is. yeah you are right about me being a novice shooter. any tips for getting good at the fundamentals of rifle shooting?

Your own house

Some sheets, you fucking pig.

>how would i clean out the cosmoline and
For cleaning metal parts you can just immerse them in kerosene and let them soak; the longer the better (I usually let 24-48 hours). The cosmo will dissolve into the kerosene. For the wooden parts you can heat them with a hair dryer and then wipe off the cosmo with rags as it comes out of the stock. Alternatively, wrap the stock in paper towels, stick it in a black plastic trash bag and leave it in the sun or an enclosed car and just replace the towels until no more is left to sweat out.
>check the fitment to the action?
Once all the cosmo and gunk is out of the stock you put the rifle back together and when you've got the action mounted in the stock with the action bolts snugged by hand you push the receiver/triggerguard forward, back, side-to-side, and up and down to see if it's sitting loose in the stock. The stock is only supposed to contact the barrel and receiver in certain key areas, otherwise they come close but do not actually touch under normal shooting conditions.

A job

prohib AK

Allegedly they were zerod with the bayonets on. If you're hitting what you're aiming at, don't worry about the bayonet. Again, the rifle is likely more capable than you are at this time. Also people will think you're a tard if you go to the range with bayonets fixed.

A google search of rifle fundamentals brings up many, many, many, many articles with much of the same information. Here is a decent one.
bisontactical.com/2018/01/06/the-fundamentals-of-rifle-marksmanship/

I will tl;dr it for you though

>get into a good position where the rifle naturally points where you want to aim
>make sure you align yourself so your sight picture is identical every time. find something to use as a reference. for example, on an AR, "nose to charging handle" is a good way to get consistent shots
>get your sights aligned properly
>FOCUS ON FRONT SIGHT. Rear sight AND THE TARGET should both be BLURRY.
This one is important, and only one of the articles I perused mentioned it. This is the most challenging one for lots of people. Your target SHOULD BE BLURRY. Front sight should be crisp
>time your shot with the natural pause in your breathing; dont hold your breath
>gentle squeeze on the trigger. don't jerk or pull
One way to practice your trigger pull is to dry fire the rifle. Aim at something, get into a proper position with proper sight alignment and focus on the front sight, then dry fire. Practice this until the rifle doesn't move or wriggle at all when you squeeze the trigger. Do this at home, do it at the range, do it between cycles of live fire.

I'm going to reiterate again to not do anything to your rifle. Do not waste money ""upgrading"" it. It's a mediocre gun at best. Save your money, appreciate the rifle for the unique historical aspect of it, and use the money you saved on a better rifle for actual shooting and marksmanship practice.

Yep, we will vote away whats left of our 2a. Well, Kang county will decide for us.

>save your money for a better rifle
thoughts on the remington 700 in 30-06? if its decent i would also like to pick up a decent affordable scope for it

yeah we might get this year off if we're lucky

they actually have a lot of shit they NEED to get through this session before its political pandering time

but if there's a mass shooting anywhere near it or if there is one in WA we are raped

either way AWB, mag ban will happen in 1-2 years

probably state preemption too in which case king county will become literally worse than cali overnight

Indeed it is. It's pretty fun to shoot but I really need to get another mag for it. And finding original holsters for reasonable prices is a nightmare nowadays.

2 late bae

no. remington was bought out about a decade ago and quality fell into the dumpster. They survive on name alone.

Look into Howa 1500s, Tikka T3, Ruger American. All solid guns, budget priced. Often can find them paired with a scope. Me personally, I'd go 308. Usually cheaper, ballistically extremely similar, and there are way more options for diverse factory loads.
