Just got my new aimpoint pro yesterday, and the choate folder this weekend. I need a mount that sits higher for the aimpoint, one that would work with a magnifier. Any recommendations? Also anyone have any spare bayonets? Not looking for anything fancy or collectible, just a functional bayonet. Country of origin doesn't matter.
I just got it about 3 days ago, haven't done any training with it but it seems solid as hell so far. When I first intalled it I thought I recieved a broken model, the fucker would not fold. Few google searches later found a guy who had the same problem. Their customer service apparantly told him to beat the hell out of it with a hammer to loosen it up, worked for him. I did the same, fucker finally folded. Also loosend up the screw in the mechanism to release some tension for the break in period. It locks tight and folds easy now, so far very happy with my purchase.

Guy said he only put 100 rounds through it. For a hot minute, I thought there was some kind of catch. The rifle shoots great so far and the rollers are in good shape.
Ian Lopez
I only do it because it bothers you. I do play it, I just keep them in the plastic when not in use. But it's a metric DSA fren
Oh good, didn't see it on their site after a quick puruse
Ian Young
Their FAQ is pretty funny, do they export to yrop though ?
Eli Lopez
Probably not. Who wants to send anything to that shithole

replying to this post because I'm also interested. All the testimonies I've read decrying their roughness on commercial ammo and over-gas issues come from feebleminded boomers. Can I get a testimony from someone who is not a pension sucking home-market wrecker? specifically on the BM-59's accuracy and reliability with factory .308 rounds? mag links: gunmagwarehouse.com/beretta-bm-59-308-win-7-62-nato-20-round-magazine.html
should I put a para stock/bolt on a regular FAL or just buy a para FAL
Connor Hill
>But it's a metric DSA fren
Yeah, no its not. Besides most CAI L1A1 receivers took metric mags anyways.
Mason Wood
ALL L1A1 recievers take metric mags.
Nolan Phillips
I think their bad cs rep precedes them. Although i hear the owner isnt involved anymore so maybe things are better. For those that dont know, rob arms had absolutely terrible cs.
You know what I fucking mean by the mag cutout, dipshit.
Joshua Powell
h-how much did that cost?
Gavin Long
Its mine you retard.
Jordan Cook
Roughly 3k.
Evan Parker
I heard that it is really likes steel cased 7.62x51.
Liam Adams
How to sight and gas this blurry shit without sighting tools? Yes. I have posted this picture in the past. Last time I got to range I was able to shoot 1cm group from 100m, must have been luck or accident.
All the actual vids I have seen on them say they run great. dont really understand the disconnect between the video reviews and the test ones. Mishaco has several and said they run great. the only problems they had were mag fails.
Nathan Anderson
why cant you get a sight tool?
Jace Mitchell
For the longest time I thought BM-59 and M1A were the same gun
Nicholas Morris
If the M1A is the garands son, the BM-59 is its uncle.
Jack Cook
I would prefer european origin over united states. Or is it that everyone around the world is creaming over dollars?
If it has a free float barrel isn't it basically as similar to an SR25, in the way a PTR is similar to a G3?
John Allen
Cheaper than a used PTR in the current market. Scope was a parts bin option til I get an ACOG
Aiden Brown
>1500 dollar rifle >fairly pricey looking scope >poorfag what?
Mason Morris
Sigh, I wish I had a FAL
Parker Perry
So did I, but the want passed when i couldn't find one. Ive learned i just have the battle rifle bug. doesnt matter which. right now i'm torn between a BM-59 or the M14. My granddad had a M14 when they sent him to Vietnam.
Henry Gray
Thoughts on the Galil Ace?

Paid 1300 OTD. Scope and Bobro qd was used.

dollar rifle jesus christ did you turn in your rapist?
I know it gets asked a million times a thread, but is there anywhere currently stocking Type 1 lowers? I got a sarco kit last december and still haven't tracked down a receiver for it
Easton Sanchez
Type 1 FAL uppers, sorry I took too much Retardrin earlier
Easton Russell
Nice, dude. It looks like an impressionist painting.
other than colour and rails whats the difference between all the PTR models?
Henry Martinez
Isnt the Scar and the EBR the only real battle rifles left in (relatively) wide scale use in the Military?
Cooper Turner
Some have heavy barrels and that's about it. They have/had an x39 chambered one as well, but unless you're paying for like the msg super sniper which is accurized as fuck and has a crowned 20" barrel, they're all the same, just different finishes, furniture, or poly vs steel trigger pack. Basically GI or GIR is where it's at then just swap out shit from there.
Logan Campbell
Gotcha. I found a 91fr in stock. Is that worth it? its seems to have a polymer lower instead of the Steal like the GIR. I was gonna buy a GIR but cant find any instock so when I saw the FR i figured it looked good but wanted to see if it was worth the extra $300.
Ryder Price
Sure.
Poly lower sucks but black powder coat is nicer than gray parkerization. Basically that's what you're comparing and need to decide if it's worth it. You can get a steel trigger housing down the road which is all around better than poly but at the cost of having to clip pin modify and do all kinds of nonsense to make sure you get the right one and one that fits and then the color won't match.
Good deal, I think. I got mine for around that same price less than a year ago. $30 less, but not as many mags and no spare rollers. I'm thinking of just installing the paddle myself from RTG parts.
