Reminder that point shooting is a real thing. It's a very effective way of firing at close distance. Everyone should know how.

The problem with shooting from the hip is that you get good at it :)

Only retards do not know this.

I'm your huckleberry.

I think actually shooting from the hip is a meme but point shooting is absolutely practical within 4 or 5 yards.

Frankly at 7 yards or less you shouldn't even need to aim to be able to put a bullet exactly where you want it

>Your most practiced gun should be your EDC
>Point shooting should be your most practiced technique

imo

u wot

>he doesn’t know CQS and CQC

Point shooting is just shooting without using the sights. You can point shoot from a reasonable firing position, it doesn't have to be from the hip.

Learning to shoot from the hip is important, seeing as right when you clear the holster you can pretty much point shoot from there.

No its not because in the time you take to fast draw and miss the other guy has aimed and hit.

the best way is to press the barrel of your revolver right into their belly. always surprises em.

front post aiming is better and more accurate especially for follow up shots

>always surprises em.

Can you hit someone this way? Yes. Is it better in any way than aiming? No.

Big waste of time to get to a proper presentation and quite possibly ineffective:

Aimed fire at heart or brain, or retention shooting from a thumb-pectotal or high compressed ready if full presentation isn't an option. That's it. This question has been answered and these demonstrated and found to be the only options to go for. Go seek actual training from individuals who have lots of real world experience. They'll tell you the same

No you, hip shot

>"first thing your muzzle's going to cross is their groin"

This describes a retention position more similar to a thumb pectoral if using the drawstroke he teaches, not hip firing

Nah, if you dog through his shit, he actually shows the shooting he talks about, its straight up hip shooting to the groin with follow up.

Show me, because I've watched his stuff and I haven't seen it

Again, It wouldn't fit at all with the drawstroke they teach

bullshit
