Question doesn't it make sense to make these types of helmets, at the least at the front. You have a screen instead of a classical medieval visor. And you angle the armour quite a bit and tighten it at the back where you can run some fans.
Most bullets would bounce off away to the sides, or down into your main plate. And yes I know side bullet deflections is dangerous to friendlies, but on head shots it's better than getting domed.
In theory because of a multi cam set up and tracking the gun orientation you could have a set up where you don't need to aim down sights, and you compensate for shocks to the head by bracing the helmet around your vest, then tossing it once it gets hit a few times and the electronics go bust to use standard system.
This also doesn't seem that hard to do, and allows you to integrate more diverse cam systems like periscope zooms under one helmet set up. It'd be hard, but it wouldn't be that hard.
