correction, he used the equivalent of a PSA kit romy parts kit, and tried to turn it into a tier-1 oper9r ak-104 decked out in zenitshit, and then he had the absolute gall to complain about how heavy it was after being advised on how retarded he was being buying all that shit to stack on the rifle without using the real estate. then, to make it more "authentic" he tried to find rollmarks to fake on his gun, completely fucked the selector markings. and then he ruined the other kit with horrendous riveting and pressing. all in all, a thoroughly wuggy experience.

Thoughts on the Colt LE 6920 SOCOM? I'm a Marylander so my options are limited but I found out recently that this one is apparently good to go. For those that don't know ARs in Maryland are legal if they have a barrel designated by the manufacturer as heavy. No actual weight or dimensions are specified.

I don't have a suppressor. I like the A2 flashhider. 5.56 doesn't need comps or brakes or other shit, and honestly they just annoy me. It does annoy me that I have to do retarded meaningless legal handwavery and can't change a muzzle device if I want to, but realistically I am not going to.

So no, I don't really feel restricted by it, but I don't have a suppressor. If I did, I'd just get my device for it pinned instead, and still wouldn't be too bothered by it.

The difference isn't that much. If it was possible without a stamp, I'd run 11.5 all day. I'd still have a 16" upper for long range, but 11.5 will go to 200yds and be effective. I'm not in some wide open area where 16" or 20" would be more suitable.
I run a 14.5 P&W for my normal upper. It will do just fine for longer range if needed.
