I feel the need. The need for short AK. Which is the better option; Draco pistol that I find someone to install a new rear trunnion on, or Atlantic M10 that I cut the barrel down on? M10 is cheaper, but looks worse (longer barrel and no dimples). The Draco would be perfect, except for the fact I have no idea how installing a standard tang trunnion would work on it. That guy from last thread with the beautiful draco has me jonesing hard, though. Thoughts?

Remove the rivets, remove the UF trunnion, drill holes for fixed trunnion, rivet it in, weld up the old holes, call it good.

Correct-ish, Im the one that went to penn state but I’m out in Washington county now by Pittsburgh. I didn’t realize Williamsport had ranges like that. Shit, scotia range only went to like 250 yards max on the durr rifle sighting range.
I keep finding that PA has some really nice ranges that I had no idea existed.

Yes, if you're using a prism scope. The TA-11 has pretty good eye relief, but if you have short eye relief a cheek riser doesn't help on a PTR. I tried the regular stock with a cheek riser and it just didn't work. With a normal scope you might be okay.

Someone link me an AK cleaning kit that'll work with the WASR 10. I bought one but then it ends up not screwing into the cleaning rod that comes with the gun...turns out it was an East German kit which I guess made a difference

If you're using a prism scope like a TA31 Acog you need to be close to the ocular lens at the rear to see properly (nose over charging handle style on an AR). If you just slap a cheek riser on a PTR with an optic with short eye relief you face will be too far forward on the stock and the cheek piece doesn't work. This might not be a problem using a scope with longer eye relief.
I had a TA31 mounted on this rifle with a standard stock and the Cherokee cheek riser. It didn't work, I needed my head closer to the optic. I bought the Spuhr stock and it solved the problem. I found the TA-11 worked even better with the Spuhr stock, so I swapped optics as well.

I think that's an understatement. DNR fucks threatened to arrest me for attempting to shoot in Sultan Basin a year or two back before I was even able to unload my rifle cases from the back of the truck. I tried explaining I thought I was clear of the no shooting zone and he still had the utter AUDACITY to cut me off and say "if you want to argue about it I can come over there to take all those guns right now and pick up some of these casings as evidence."
Ran into a few buddies a week or so later who ran into the same guy around the same location and just barely weaseled their way out of an arrest. Worst part was I went back up the next day to shoot (in a different area) and right at the top of the gravel road there was a group of Mexicans burning a mountain of trash bags. Strange how wardens seem to only harass people doing fuck all.
