A cheaper shotgun or a secondhand rifle. Just save really, you can get something much nicer in the $800-$1200 range though any rifle will have the stupid fucking safe act compliant features. Features, which can always be rapidly removed / replaced should you purchase the parts necessary to do so once the law "changes".

Swiss here. This thread brought my attention as i know the America gun laws very vaguely, and i have no real intentions of knowing more since they seem so damn different state by state and even worse, city by city. So i took a look at the NYC gun laws.
And my initial reaction is : what the fuck is this absolute shit ? It's worse and more restrictive than most European countries in all regards ! Who the fuck authorized this shit ? Why the fuck is this even legal in the first place ? In America of all places ?
