These companies are companies and the big ones like ProTrack will issue uniforms and equipment as well as firearms. By law, they will then have to issue ancialiarry protection equipment and first aid equipment. The only shit you will need are "quality of life" things like knee-pads or thermal under-shirts or whatever.

Anti-poaching companies work on what foreigners call "safari-parks". The infrastructure inside them is fairly comprehensive. Most companies use a rotation system. When you are working a park you will generally be based at a lodge (so runnin water, electricity etc) and you will then go out for patrols for whatever length of time and then return to your lodge to rest and refuel.

The accommodation is the same as field guides, and you only live in a tent when you are out on long range patrols in very large reserves. Coincidentally, its the large reserves that hire blacks from the surrounding communities, however they still get trained by specialist whites who act as officers. Private game reserves also hire whites more than blacks compared to state run national parks.

You sleep under a tarpaulin in a sleeping bag in the bush because you can't let even the farm workers know where you are if they are suspected of acting as informants for the poachers. You won't have helicopters and fleets of vehicles unless you work for the government or a huge company like ProTrack.
