Looks rad more feasible than a metric ton of US X-projects and Nazi prototypes.

Shit like this happens when you go from first successful flight to spacetravel in less than 70 years.

Polish low IQ combined with Polish delusions of grandeur.

>dude you know Starfox?

Engines separate from body for safety, the engine itself attracts heat seeking missile and if the engine is destroyed it does not impact the capability of the airplane to fly. Multiple redundant control surfaces means if anything is shot off the airplane will still be able to fly in a controlled manner. This thing could make it back to base after taking a full Shilka gun belt and a half dozen Iglas, that's what they were thinking.

What dis and why it here?

More importantly the engine nacelles were designed to reduce heat signature, and the entire aircraft was not only stealthy but also capable of being built by the Polish military at the time. It could carry thousands of pounds of ordinance, it's pretty great.

That or an engine failure sends this thing in to a flat spin.

Proposed Polish attack plane that never went beyond a mockup. It does look pretty though.

.... fucking why do you think that??

Short body with fuckall yaw stability combined with engines spaced very far apart. You remember the F-14, don't ya user?

>pretty
edgy, at best

This shit couldn't even get off the ground.

It started out as a cheap STOL attack aircraft project, with a pair of pusher turboprop engines.
It wasn't that far from the trainers PZL used to make.
Then the Air Force got involved, and decided it needed to carry a lot more, and go considerably faster. Which in turn required the plane to be redesigned around turbofans.
Then they required a fly-by-wire system.
Then they required stealth characteristics, for some reason.
The project became bloated, the costs soared, and when a new leftitst government was formed, they cancelled the project.
PZL did nothing wrong.

Mini SR-71???

Well the ME 262 comes to mind.

This guy knows

>fuckall yaw stabiliy
Look at those control surfaces!!!

This, atleast we have Tigers

Hold my piwo, kurwa.

Cringe.

Gotta go fast.
>someone please combine this design with op

Aesthetic as fuck.

Which Star Wars movie did this Jedi fighter appear in?

I'll be interested if it actually becomes real and not just a mockup.

It's a mockup mate, it has no engines.

It's a F-16 designed to shoot the A-10's gun.

Came here to post this
