However, the best things you can do to actually attack root ugliness is to A) get muscular and lose weight and B) work on your face with acne treatments and plastic surgery if necessary.

Of course male models use a ton of makeup and dressing tricks, but that's just part of the industry.

Some use steroids and some use bulimia/drugs to keep their weights down, but the majority of male models were simply born with beautiful faces and frames. And obviously, they have the money to throw down for cocaine and it's simply a facet of the party lifestyle and less so much an appetite suppressant.

It's largely genetic. You can try and become a male model but it's a hard road if you're not naturally beautiful. No doubt they've been praised their whole lives for simply being beautiful so you can't argue with the fact that most male models are extremely confident, even if they are depressed.

Not really, no. If you're going to try expending any effort on clothes, do so because you enjoy doing it. Doing it for any other reason is a waste of time. Just do it because you enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it, don't bother.
