I should say at universities at least. My university is a complete cesspit of it.

Remember women need validation of t heir thoughts by others. They never trust themselves and look to others for guidance. Its why they go after men that are already in a relationship. They figure the girl he is dating approves of him so hes an okay guy and a good catch.

One man alone means that she cant take cues from others on what she is supposed to think. So she defaults to the worst possible scenario that he is a horrible person and that is why there is no one else around him. Three men is a problem but less so. She cant defend herself against three men but each man in that group has two other men that approve of him so its not as bad as a single man alone. The group of men together gives her plenty of social cues to tell her what to think and as the pic says she can pick just one out of the group to focus on and ignore the others. That one man will also "protect" her from the other men. The two men at the bottom show that each individual man has at least one person that approves of them. Its also only two men so she will likely be able to defend herself.
