What do you call your parents, what do they call each other, and what do they call you?

My family really never calls somebody by name or any other proper noun when speaking to them.

If we're referring to them in conversation, we just use Mum/Dad or our names.

i see, parents who separate when they have a kid seems like such a foreign concept to me. my parents hated each other before they even had me but stayed together so i wouldn't grow up without both parents.

They were never married and I was a drunk baby so take that as you will. Both parents hated each other with the fury of the sun.

I hate that my father doesn't respond to anything but papi because it's become so synonymous with sex, doesn't help that I'm in my mid-20s, wish he'd just accept papa.
I'm hispanic so it's not as weird as it sounds.

freaks me the fuck out when people, male or female, call their mom "mommy" unless they're under 10...

i get that but i can't break the habit now. i used to just call her mom until i was fifteen because she teased me into calling her mommy and now i do it earnestly

I don't understand people who calls their parents "mom" or "dad".
I've always called them by their first names.
In kindergarten I always thought it was weird they workers there would say shit like "Oh here comes dad to pick you up!"

I call my father daddy. I'm male and 25.

They used to call my sister "sweety" and she called them mom and dad. They called me by my first name, probably because I called them by their first name or because they just hated me
