>Religion
Islam

>How
Born into it but later questioned and investigated myself. Came to the conclusion it was accurate and matched logic/science

>What do you believe?
One God/Supreme Creator. Not part man, part spirit. Not shaped like a human or "man in the sky".

According to Islam:
Evolution is a fact. The big bang caused this universe to exist and it is steadily expanding. There are more dimensions than our physical 3 and lesser understood 4th (spacetime). Relativity is a thing. Patterns and organization don't occur without outside energy/intervention in a closed system, so only logical explanation for our patterned universe is outside intervention.

>What is your faith/religion
My own interpretation of the outside.
>How did you find it?
Thinking about my subjective experience and objective facts.
>What do you believe?
There was an entity or phenomenon that brought about the creation of this universe but it has no influence over my life and it has no plan for me. It doesn't care if I'm happy, sad, healthy or sick. It made no immaterial part of me and it won't save my consciousness after I die. It just was or it just is, nothing more than that.

I'm a nonbelieving Christian. I've been atheist my whole life but since the beginning of the year I've been going to church hoping that if I force myself enough I will be a true believer and be free of depression and degeneracy. It's not working so far.

>What is your faith/religion?
Undecided Theist but don't have a religion.

>How did you find it?
I mean it's pretty obvious that the elite worship some type of deities to keep power or to spread their power, only a fool would reject the super natural. Also, I find the scientific theories of consciousness and dreams laughable. And there were some case studies I read a while ago that I can't seem to find about how children naturally believe in God even though they can tell apart real from fake(even when they have imaginary friends) and that many atheists feel spiritual when hearing religious stuff. Also when someone is having a spiritual relation the part of the brain that is responsible for delusions does not activate meaning spirituality is far from a delusion.

>What do you believe?
An all powerful monotheistic God makes the most sense. However, there may be other
4th dimension entities that LARP as divine and get humans to worship them in return for power and wealth. I'm not to sure about heaven and hell but I think justice will come in the hereafter by this all powerful God (if he wills). I believe he's aware of us and I don't know he's sent messengers and prophets to people (like what the Semitic religions believe) since I haven't seen enough proof although it does make sense for him to do so but I can't say for sure.

>Came to the conclusion it was accurate and matched logic/science
>science
okay then I suppose there's plenty of reasearch papers with lots of peer review that prove islam is right, right? no? then it's not science buddy try again

I've been thinking of getting baptised, especially with Easter right around the corner. I read a lot of theology years ago and became pretty well convinced that God was real due to the strength of their arguments and logic and the fact that I couldn't find of a single appropriate rebuttal to them. Then I stopped reading because it made me too uncomfortable and I didn't like the idea of having to change my life so dramatically. I've been rethinking it ever since I almost died 3 months ago though. It makes me very nervous.

>I couldn't find of a single appropriate rebuttal to them
wtf I believe in talking snakes now

my first (you) of the thread, thanks

Not religious, no human being or organization has spiritual authority over me, my faith is in the Creator God and Him alone, according to the Holy Scriptures given by Him.
I pray you all find the Way to the Truth of Life, amen.

I believe that anything and everything exists (multiverse). It was all created by an infinite, eternal, being that we call God but is really the Substance. This universe could have lesser gods, ghosts, aliens, who knows. I don't see any sure path to truth so I don't care. If I go to Hell, so be it.

see anons this is how a person with no arguments to put forth argues

>forcing yourself to believe in fairy tales to stop being a degenerate
what a retard

i beleive in god

Pretty much everyone at this point knows well-enough to deflect "debate me" types.

yeah because you can't win an argument against me and you know it. religious people are intellectualy dishonest and are well aware of it. you know your religious text is fiction but you lie to yourself that it's not because you fear death.

Faith and religion are both beneficial to society, to stop people from just following the media and harmful trends that they want, like encouraging cuckoldry and shaming chastity like is happening now. Heaven and Hell, and God don't exist, though. Investing faith anyway could lead to better lives, but with how they make decent people force themselves to betray their authenticity and possibility of honest thoughts with "well, the bible might say it's wrong, and I need to get to Heaven, so I'll suffer here because I'm a good person". No, denying your right to actually think and grow as a person doing more than conforming to the rules of others does not make you a good person, if you're going to be unhappy and bitter through this life and try to force others to be unhappy with you by following the same mindset. This life is the only chance we have, so we have to be honest with ourselves, and ideally, try to spread good ideas and values and help others, or encourage them to help themselves know inner peace and self-acceptance.

I was a Christian as a child and prayed mostly every night until I was about 19 and started thinking about it all, on my own.

>"debate me" types
you mean people who you know will destroy you in any "argument" you put forth because you're wrong?

Im OP.
>faith/religion
Was baptised, became edgy antitheist atheist at 14, tried hinduism at 15 went back to edgy atheism after a few months, found a path to spirituality that im comfortable with and feel is more natural and matches my worldview in paganism. Although im relatively new to it and have only been studying spiritual topics for about 2 years ive learned alot but have alot more to learn and feel myself finding more about the world every day and my beliefs encourage it rather than restrain it.
>how did you find it
Friends, people on the internet that recommended literature, youtubers with the occasional viking larpers.
>What do you believe
In Gods, spirits, tradition and the power of our ancestors and nature.

Discordian. Mainly for giggles.

you can't see it right now, but you can consider tipped, fellas.

>LE FEDORA MEME XDDDDDDDDDDD

Singularitarian. The only reason I haven't killed myself yet is the chance that I might be able to use transhumanism to become a godlike being.
