How many books does Jow Forums read a week? You will forever be a brainlet if you don't read at least one
i used to but now im perpetually exhausted all i can do is spam F4 on 4shite all day
Zero, except technical books.
>reading books means you won't be a brainlet
I wish I was this naive
>You will forever be a brainlet if you don't read at least one
I'm okay with that.
Books are for pretentious brainlets who feel smart when reading one and probably don't even enjoy it
I try to read 2 a week. It still feels like it's not enough.
I pace my reading by chapter, so typically a novel a month. I'm hoping to get back into history books on periods I actually like after I finish uni, since I don't want that conflicting with my essay and exam knowledge.
Reading books doesn't make you smart when all you read is genrefaggotry sci-fi/fantasy pleb pandering nonsense.
Let alone retain anything they read for more than a week. What's the fucking point of that?
I can't even bring myself to play videogames or watch anime/television/movies for more than 1-2hrs a week. There's no chance I could bring myself to read.
>he doesn't want to be a brainlet
The more you open your eyes,
the more you see,
the more darkness surrounds you,
the less you want to see
Ignorance is bliss.
lmaoing @ booklets lives itt
100 books. I'm the Globglogabgalab. I love books
Icant concentrate while reading. Anewhobby would bei lit.
That piece of shit makes me feel uncomfortable
You pretentious fuck you read more than a book a week your either unemployed or read basic books enjoy twighlight sweetie
>he implies being unemployed is something bad
I used to read a lot, probably three a week and I really enjoyed it. But then I thought it would be a good idea to take literature courses in Uni, because I liked to read and now I have to read one or two books a week, but I fucking hate it and I never read anything in my spare time. I guess the lesson is never do things you enjoy.
I read painfully slow so I don't no if I could do one a week. Unless they're short.
How do I get better at reading I can't rember past 3 pages, better piss off if you tell me to read more some reddit cunt will say it and fuck you for being a smug fucking cunt
I havn't read a book in 3 years user.
Whenever I have time (or money). I have nothing better to do.
How do you lads do it ? I cannot even focus on a book long enough, my mind feels foggy.
>read book
>forget 99% of it one month later
what is the point
Big difference between simply reading, and actually understanding or being engaged in it. I try to read a book every week, but my brainlet brain discards 90% of it and learns nothing.
I really need to read more. You've reminded me to get a list of essential read books and to order them asap.
>tfw buy a bunch of books
>don't even read one
My problem. I can't read for pleasure or information.
Thanks for reminding me op
I just ordered men are better than woman
I feel that way sometimes as well, but I feel like finding any connection to the themes or even learning something about yourself or life is why it's worth it and that's the stuff that sticks with you. Also, when provoked about a book I've read I feel like I can recall a decent plot summary and some opinions on it. idk you might feel the same.
I make an effort to read one a week, at least.
Manga fags need not apply.
