Retail Department Manager $38k It's great until I deal with the customers Less unexpected meetings/less being sent to other buildings to cover staffing issues
Asher Cooper
I bet at least 10 - 20% have fulltime jobs here. Some people can't get autismbux if they don't actually have autism.
Ryder Campbell
just do whatever you feel like in the end who cares really its fine post ignore me for real good vibes and all that shit
>sales >$55M/year >job itself is annoying, but easy enough that I can coast and still be top 10% >I'd rather be a writer who lives off royalties and has enough overflow that I can just write whenever I want, even if I stop now I'll never run out of cash so there's no pressure. >to improve job,I wish I could have an assistant to do the annoying paperwork bits, and focus on the sales bit, and increase my production by 10. Closest thing to it I can do is train other employees to take care of such paperwork when I don't feel like driving all the way there to meet the client, but even then they fuck it up often due to lack of practice.

Help Desk Monkey $45,000/year hate my coworkers hate my job hate my schedule (I'm working now and work all weekend) pay is pretty good tho

Then fill your mouth With all the money you will save Sinking in getting smaller a gain
>software safety >$70k >not really. its something new that im not interested in learning. >want to do infosec but its hard to get in the door without xp.
Is that your field? $28M seems kind of low, are you still in school or is this while you finish your degree?
England?
What store? From the salary, I take it you are not top dog yet but rather one of many managers who still report to one more person on site (probably making $80M+), whose boss is then in corporate, right? Do you plan to do this forever?
Hunter Nguyen
Are you planning your transfer yet? Sounds like you are pretty much done with that job, what other options do you have in your area?
how much more experience do you need before you can get a solid shot to transition into infosec? Have you developed any connections in that field yet?
Xavier Cooper
>senior scientist at a biochem firm >120k >its interesting work, at least Im working in my major >Id rather be an artist or something
Dominic Turner
generally speaking i think people look for about 3 years experience for any kind of tech hire.
i have a year of non-professional security exp and a security certification. im hoping i can get a sysadmin job and then that exp will help move into infosec.
i have some connections in the field on linkedin but i dont know anyone who could straight up get me a job.
>Id rather be an artist or something iktf. i though about scrapping the whole computer shtick and becoming a forest ranger or geologist
John Jackson
>fuck man why so low? >Is that your field? $28M seems kind of low, are you still in school or is this while you finish your degree?
First of all, non-American so it's reall euros and that's not a horrible starting wage here. It's low, but it's justifiable.
Second of all: >drop out of college >find the only company willing to hire me >take the offer
Basically this. After a few years of experience I should be able to move up to something a bit over $30k I hope.
Luke Cooper
>iktf. i though about scrapping the whole computer shtick and becoming a forest ranger or geologist I've learned that almost everything can be pretty artsy if you make it that way. Programming to me is not as "soulless" as people look at it, especially if you program artistic things like vidya.
Austin Cooper
i agree but even doing artsy programming wouldn't cut it for me. i like working with my hands and /out/. only wish i would have realized this before falling for the cs meme.
Quality auditor $45/hr It's okay, it allows me to work from home Would rather have more hours
Kayden Gonzalez
I get you homie. I too fell for the programming meme and I ended up dropping out because I realized that the business world is cold. These days I tend to try and work on hobby stuff while on the job, just so that I don't come to hate programming.
I actually started trying to improve my handwriting. That way I feel like I'm doing something with my hands without having to spend a shitload of time learning a new skill like drawing. I'm glad I have an easy job like programming but I will do everything in my power to not be overtaken by the soullessness of the corporate world.
Benjamin Taylor
>high school custodian >22$ an hour >love/hate; simple and easy which is great but not challenging at all (obviously) >mechanic/work on cars even though I don't know shit about them
I wish I was skilled enough to do that. Btw what's your first and last name?
