Need a job to get a job

>Need a job to get a job

What genius thought of this idea?

Attached: 1522330744504.jpg (706x1000, 78K)

>need to not be lazy and thoughtless when youre young to build work history

Yea, just work in the summer at some local grocery store or something

>dude just go back in time 7 years and unfuck your life

It's bullshit that I'm supposed to explain to my future employee what I've been doing all my life like fuck off why should it matter? If we click during the interview that's all that should matter. But instead I have to somehow explain what I did every month of my fucking life since graduating high school, and if there's even just one gap my resume is most likely going into the trashbin.

Attached: 1522324977612.jpg (244x239, 23K)

Well yea youre fucked, but you shouldve seen this coming and acted

Everyone you knew was getting jobs and you were doing nothing

Submitting a resume is nothing more than a way for them to find a convenient excuse not to hire you, and you're cucked enough to give it to them.

All the good jobs are reserved for friends and relatives of people in the business already. Jews and other ethnic groups practice outright nepotism but whites call it "networking"

Just like the sexual market and the economy, the job market is not based on merit at all, its entirely based on family history and social connection

unironically volunteer for 6 months
it will be much easier to get your foot in the door
of course you will make an excuse to not do this

Yeah but now I'm gonna be a leech to society for the rest of my life. I'm also more likely to contract severe diseases due to my unhealthy NEET lifestyle, resulting in more monetary losses for my country. How is this a good thing? They should make it easier for fuck ups to return to society, but if they don't want me, fine, I'll just leech hard as I can.

And the 'excuse' will be: it's fucking retarded to work for free. Modern slavery can suck my dick. I'm not falling for that.

>Submitting a resume is nothing more than a way for them to find a convenient excuse not to hire you, and you're cucked enough to give it to them.
>All the good jobs are reserved for friends and relatives of people in the business already. Jews and other ethnic groups practice outright nepotism but whites call it "networking"

i understand being cynical but come on kek

I have a degree in something Jow Forums consistently turns their nose up at yet I had significantly less trouble finding a good, enjoyable, well-paying job than most of you. Go figure

Attached: patrickomp.jpg (344x259, 16K)

Well you would have to use government to force businesses to hire shitty employees, which is socialism, or leech off of government benefits.

Maybe if that leeching part werent an option from the beginning it would have actually forced you to act, but instead we will support you and coddle you

Go to a staffing agency you idiot, they don't care about work histories. Stop making excuses to be a lazy piece of shit.

>mfw I made sure to get work experience when I was 17
>mfw I'm going to get my machining cert next year
>mfw I'll be making easy 50k a year because I looked to the future rather than living for now.

>statement of fact is cynicism
>thinks anecdotal evidence counts for shit
>wageslave

Sounds about right

Boomers. I have a theory that boomers are the sole reason behind the decline of western society as we know it, and as the years go on my theory only holds truer.

>be teen
>no one hires you after hundreds of applications
I was raised to be lazy you fag.

>get robbed 15 percent while filling in emergency jobs underpaid15 to temp notwithstanding
Ha.

Yeah, this. Some of the work can be very shitty but if you're willing to bust ass and end up in a warehouse job you can make a decent wage.

You fucking moron. They just explained that supporting someone for a few months/years after graduating school and doing it for their entire lives are two completely different things and one of them is an option YOU choose. Don't martyr yourself while dooming someone to a lifetime of misery, you miserable asspained waste of life.

>fired from that one job to get that other job and now im homeless

Attached: hehe_im_happy_and_eating_chocolate___by_wolfrun_the_huntress-d62do8a.jpg (850x850, 138K)

>7 years
Is that it? You've got plenty of time.

fuck off, you sound like a whiny entitled millenial. No one owes you anything.

The ratio of trash people to pleb jobs is too damn high already (outside of select sectors like trucking). If an employer is actually going to hire a stranger off the street for the on-the-books unskilled labor and not some family or friends connection, they're going to want a proven track record of you not being a shithead. You're going to have to jump through the hoops like everyone else.

Otherwise, go to a temp agency like this user said , they'll put you in a warehouse relatively quickly at the moment

Every job i got was because i happen to know someone at the place i was working and they got me in.

>The ratio of trash people to pleb jobs is too damn high already
Must be the people's fault for existing. Not the parents or anybody responsible for your countries' shitty infrastructure and social policies.

Reminder to throw broken glass bottles at people who gather outside of abortion clinics.

>If an employer is actually going to hire a stranger off the street for the on-the-books unskilled labor and not some family or friends connection, they're going to want a proven track record of you not being a shithead
>and a drug test
>job description consists of cleaning toilets or stocking shelves

>lie and say you had a job
>get job
wow that was hard

Do companies not check these sorts of things? Is that not the whole point of references?

>apply to job
>employer says hes forced to buy insurance for his employees, but it's really expensive so he doesn't want to hire anyone with health problems
>makes me go get a full check up at the hospital including x rays and bloodwork
>my anemia and back problems come up
>hand in the report anyway and hope for the best
>never called me back

Attached: 1522474083428.png (500x500, 13K)

they call the reference, yes. they're not going to do some fucking extensive background check for an entry level pleb job.

Well it's a buyer's market for unskilled labor. When I was looking, I got an interview with a footwear retailer that turned out to be a group interview (6 people were interviewed at the same time in a group) where they forgot to tell me about the group part or else I wouldn't have even fucking bothered showing up, another was for Mcdick's and about ten other people were sitting there waiting to interview for one position.

I don't even want to think about what the situation will look like when the next recession hits, a breakthrough in automation is made, and heavy immigration levels continue.

why don't mellinuls just get the 7 years required for an entry level job

Attached: seniorentry.png (781x1066, 112K)

gee golly I made 10.50 a hour instead of 12 a hour for 3 months before being hired on

those god damn criminals

>expects to get a job
>isn't paying the HR manager and business owner for the privilege of being interviewed

Attached: badcost.jpg (720x960, 42K)

jobs suck.
whoever created the first job can burn in hell for eternity

Wtf can this actually happen?
Do they have a right to ask money for something like that?

those are specifically crafted to deter and demoralize domestic workers from even applying because the company has a backroom deal with some Indian company (eg Tata consulting, Infosys consulting) who will ship over some pajeet code monkeys who will work for minimum wage when they "can't find anyone to fill the position" due to a "skills shortage"

If you get past the first check (resume), they will try their hardest to filter you out on the second (interview) where they will grill you on how the hell you met their ridiculous demands

You know, the more society progresses the more we regress socially.
If you want to survive nowadays, the best option is to buy some land and just grow your own food, buy some solar panels for electricity and live like that.
Living in and of itself is too expensive

Hahahahaha holy fucking shit. I pray thats not real and if it is I pray the dude didn't pay that shit. I'd have sent them a bill right back for wasting my time.

>Do they have a right to ask money for something like that?
No of course not.

>tfw turned down a job offer
lmao at robots I guess

No lol. Not at all originally.

>potential employer responded to my email with "thank you for your interest, we will discuss internally to see if we have any availabilities and get back to you"

i-is this a bad sign or

Attached: 1467828350438.jpg (600x600, 148K)

did you reply to a job posting or just send in a resume? if you replied to a job posting it's bad news.

>get an interview
>goes well and the interviewer even says so himself
>"okay user we'll call you tomorrow for the follow up interview, have a nice day"
>the next day I'm browsing a job website
>see a position open for the job I interviewed for, from the company I interviewed at
>posted:today
>never got that call

Attached: 1520099560418.jpg (633x485, 180K)

>have a group interview
>pass it
Fuck knows how I managed that.

that shit gets on my nerves. it's not that difficult for these assholes to just be upfront. hell even an email right after the interview would be better.

was recommended it by a friend who used to work there, who said they tend to go through employees fast, but it's possible they dont need anyone now i guess

>tfw not even good enough for nepotism

that's slightly more optimistic than if you had sent in a resume to a posted position.

Just which countries you live at that have this level of welfare to support NEETs for their entire lives? Because I would like to live in that country as well.

I transitioned to NEET life after climbing the corporate ladder in IT and realizing it wasn't what I wanted to do with my life. Wasted 10 years and countless hours on certifications and whatnot but I am not salty.

Whenever I was job seeking throughout the years I always had my pick of at least two or more positions and sometimes used that as leverage to get more pay or benefits... feltgoodman.avi

But I am pretty sure that is going to fuck me in the future when I make a career change and have to start back at the bottom

I'd just like to take a moment to say that I really like the OP image, might be the best image I've seen all day. Thanks for sharing.

You know who you dont need prior expierence for? Trades and military. Both are entry level. You literally have every option. If youre too fucked for both of those then what's the real pursuit of happiness? Why be alive?

clueless fools and people unwilling to train greenhorns

how are you sustaining yourself as a NEET right now?

VA disability. I got fucked up in Afghanland and they give me a fat check every month

>defending this kike shit
Go to be good goy somewhere else

>What genius thought of this idea?
This one, retarded weeb

Attached: image.jpg (501x504, 100K)

I dunno, I had zero work experience a few months ago and I applied online for almost every position at Walmart and I was hired within a few days.

Start your own business then master race

>i cant because muh massive jewish conspiracy keeps me down
Okay kiddo

The reason employers like to know your job history is because they can see how long you've worked at each job. Having alot of jobs over a short period is worse than no job experience. Just apply for a job at a supermarket and work there for a year or so. If you do that and are a good employee you can get your manager to write you a letter of recommendation for your next job. Hope this helps user.

This is so fucked, if it became "immediately" obvious how the hell did the interview last 6 hours?

My first job was Wal-mart, when they asked me questions like "Tell me about a time..." I used examples from school and that was fine. If you're applying to a pizza hut, Walgreens, Mcdonalds etc...work history isn't all that important. But it seems crazy to me for someone to not have any work history by the age of say 22 and lazy. I was a manager at Dollar Tree for 6 years (Im 25 now) and even that helped me just land a really good $22 an hour job at an insurance company with no degree.

>he hasn't taken the crimepill yet
lmao
I'm enjoying my free stuff lel

Attached: del toro2.png (1280x720, 1.32M)

They scheduled in two hours for a guy that wasnt worth 5 minutes, and they couldve used those two hours to schedule other meetings, or possibly they delayed other important meetings in preperation for the interview.

The amount I would lean towards supporting depends completely on the level of actual qualifications of the guy, which none of us know

Even if you got a job, you'd just be stuck jumping through hoop after hoop after hoop.

I can't sleep well at night knowing that I'm working for fractions of pennies for a company that doesn't give a single shit about me.

>I can't sleep well at night knowing that I'm working for fractions of pennies for a company that doesn't give a single shit about me.
Why the fuck would they give a single shit about you, you god damn retard? You're supposed to give a shit about yourself. No one else is obligated to. You have no value to anyone, why should they be forced to care for you? Holy fuck, just kill yourself.

I spilled my bottled up frustrations and anxietys to my friend and he told me to man up.
> man up
I don't know about him anymore. Coming from someone with a girlfriend, his own place, a career, good looks. I grew up with him, but he is a normo. No doubt about it. He had no empathy, or understanding of my feelings outside of his own arbitrary personal experiences. Maybe if I didn't have intense feelings of doom and fear, at the thought of social interaction, he would be right. He basically told me.

" You don't feel that way. Man up. You just need to try hard and b urself, and have fun along the way." Thanks dad.

>grandpa works for Ford literally his entire life
>retires at 68 with amazing pension
>dad works for Ford literally his entire life
>retires at 55 with worse pension but good medical and a few rental properties
>Ford cuts plant from 3,000 to just over 500 employees
>tuition at a middling state school is like 7,000/year minimum
>government likes to hire niggers or lady beans who can't even English
>"I don't know what to tell ya kid, go study something worthwhile I guess"
>have to take out student loans for all 100% of tuition to compete against cream of the crop high IQ chinks who study 12 hours a day and have their own rackets, networks, and still cheat on fucking everything
>dad keeps telling me stories about how he earned his properties through smart investing, industry and thrift

Gee thanks dad, wonder what it's like having everything given to you and thinking you earned it, while creating economic and social conditions that will absolutely fuck over the next generation

Because it's Walmart. You can't get much lower than that. Even Walmart's customers look barely qualified to just be out shopping.

>blaming regular people of the past for today's economic conditions because you're jealous that they were luckily born in an era of huge growth and also had the balls to fight for their right to unionise and such
>not blaming the shitty policies since at least Reagan that have fucked over the majority of American workers
good prole

I've encountered far more normal-looking and friendly people at Walmart than hideous and/or rude people so far. I do work through the night when customer traffic is low so maybe my sample size is too small to judge. Then again you'd expect the biggest weirdos to be at Walmart at 3am. Also my coworkers are all fine people.

You are stupid for fucking your own life at the beginning, stop blaming others for your mistake

>Yea, just work in the summer at some local grocery store or something
Too bad I need to have working experience in that field to get a fucking part time below minimum wage job in the first place, I also need a car and have to be mobile and be willing to work at nights and on weekends with flexible work hours being decided 12 hours before my shift starts.
I am not even exaggerating, those are the openings for my area.

Where do you live? I'm in the same situation.

>volunteer for 6 months
Volunteering is not permitted for a person on welfare in my country, unless it is state issued workforce introduction programs, which there are none of in my area. If I do volunteer I will lose all entitlements to welfare, meaning I get no more money.

Germany, in a town that has no industry and shittons of commuters coming from the outside villages.

If you ever get to an interview and the company representative asks of you to work for X many weeks for no pay so they can evaluate your performance, ask if your will get retroactive payment should they decide to keep you. If they reject this, ask the interviewer when they will be coming over to your house and cook and clean and spend 8 hours a day doing your homesteading for no pay.
Go on, take the first step towards becoming a Chad.

>outside villages

You mean Syria?

>telling the actual truth on your resume

What genius started spreading this terrible advice?

K E K my fellow 'pede!!!

>need a gf to get a gf
I hate people's logic.

It's the most politically correct way in society to say that no one gives a fuck about you. You could literally drop dead and everyone who knew you would get over it if they even felt any differently about it within a month. If anything, a lot of people would just feel better it wasn't them. Men want to be the best and women want to take advantage of the best men. If you fail, they're either grateful or indifferent.

Now that you know how they feel about you, do you still think you owe them them an honest resume?

Lie to them you idiot. Society is built on convenient lies. hat's what networking is. Bullshitting. If you can put up a convincing front that you're likeable and give a fuck, then they can count on you to bullshit in their best interest so that the company can make money. That's how it works. They want people who don't need to be told how it works, because that would defeat the point. Some Honest Abe who doesn't know how to smile, shut up, look the other way and lie when they see crooked shit is nothing but a liability in the work world.

Doesn't germany have like 3% unemployment and the best economy in Europe?

You're an idiot. Work experience is more important than "clicking" during an interview. This isn't a date, faggot.

>It's not my fault I can't find a job, everyone else is against me

Oh boy finally I get to talk to somebody about this!
Yes, technically that's true, according to official statistics, but our statistics are fake because they only include a minority of people who are on welfare (the following will be simplified for easier understanding), those being short-term unemployed people who have been unemployed for less than 365 days. Everyone beyond that falls into a different statistic that does not factor 100% into unemployment statistic. Furthermore every person that is in any form of government program, such as reeducation programs and workforce introduction programs do not count as unemployed either, even if they don't have any income outside of welfare. Lastly people who work 400 euro jobs as we call them (far below minimum wage for up to 9 hours of work a day) and have to receive additional welfare do not count as unemployed either, which you might see as acceptable. (This kind of employment has destroyed our low skilled / entry position job market, because employers will hire these people for one year and then simply not hire them and mill through the other millions of unemployed people because they only have to pay 1/3 of the minimum wage). Lastly people who are unable to work because of illness, mothers within a year or so of their child's birth, and people beyond 58 are not taken into the unemployment statistics either, because they count as unemployable. And as a truly last point, we have highly centralized industries and economies, meaning you'll have cities like Hamburg and Leipzig who will have below 1% unemployment of employables, meanwhile Mecklenburg Vorpommern (my county) has upwards of 10% unemployment because we have nothing but farms and callcenters.

>You know who you dont need prior expierence for? Trades
Fucking kek, I live in a town with a ton of carpenters and steel mills and everyone demands experience because there's plenty of desperate people to go around. I work as an electrician for a company, and we do sub-contracted work to a lot of different companies and no one can ever be assed to hire people with no experience because hiring some apprentice and teaching him is too much work compared to just getting some guy from another company to come help ya out for a day.

I'm going to be 35 soon. God this shit's depressing.

>Get robbed 15% now, and get a fucking 100% paying job later when you've built a work history from it.
Really makes you think
