people set up security cameras or monitoring cameras for like, pets and children, but they don't put a password on them, the website sends "bots" or "spiders" (i'm not too knowledgable on the topic), that crawl through the web looking for cameras that are connected to the internet, and then a link to the camera is made on the website, from then on it's your job to figure out the password, but since most of the time people just don't bother to set up a password, you can just click on the camera and watch without having to enter anything in or you can just use the default password which you can find from just googling.

a tip for the cameras that show you an login prompt. type in admin as name and admin as password, that is usual fromthefactory setting on hardware like this.

I got the same thing, you need to install the MxPEG_Active X Control plugin, I got it to work after that.
Go into the tab to activate the sound and click yes, a small window should pop-up in the bottom asking you to install it.
