He cries a lot. is he high in neuroticism?

Attached: cry.jpg (255x176, 7K)

hes on a cocktail of antidepressants and forced his daughter on them too. he deserves to be shot.

He uses (or used?) antidepressents

He's actually a low test beta male who hides it really well so he can exploit other betas. Real men don't cry.

lol. what a pathethic beta male. and he's supposed to teach me how to be alpha? how many women he slept with?

I believe he's said that

Depression in most cases is biological.
Its like going to a person with type 1 diabetes and saying
>wtf dude just stop eating sugar just snap out of it its your fault

reminder that Jow Forums hates him because he makes fun of racists and calls them low iq

>low test
No shit, he's 55. Men lose roughly 1% of test per year after 30

>alpha
No, I don't think his idea of healthy and good manhood is playing along with this disgusting hook-up culture that determines your value based on how many women you pleased like a normalfag.

Literally, who the original fuck is this?

Is this the "clean your room" meme man?

I could tell he was dead inside.

>see daughter in bikini on the internet
Who wouldnt cry?

what? show pics

Caution: dont put any of your hand near your crotch

I want to put my hands on her

looks like the neckbeard guy

i feel him

My father is older than him and still quite muscular and high-t

He probably spent his whole life trying to get to where he is, his parents and others in his life probably drove home the message that he must try hard and achieve a lot in life. His message, this whole "clean your room" thing is just him trying to prove to himself that all the effort in his life was worth it, he's trying to convince himself that he chose the right path(s) in life. Him telling others to do what he did is an attempt to feel better about himself. This is why he hates the concept of nihilism, he wants to feel like it was all worth it and it mattered. This is why he is depressed cause deep down he doesn't believe it.

this fine lady does porn?

He is a good psychologist but damn his life advice is "be urself" tier despite ironically being the exact opposite

he said that women choose successfull males. and that being rejected by a woman is like being rejected by nature itself

i'm pretty sure according to him in interviews is that he feels quite lucky to be picked as a target by the radical left. they made him a fucking star from relative obscurity known only in academic circles now to an internet sensation

why is "b urself" bad advice?

I cleaned my room. When do i get my state mandated gf?

>state mandated
you collectivist piece of shit. go get your own gf

Thanks for exposing yourself normalnigger. Now I know at whom to REE

REEEEEEEEEE LEAVE AT ONCE

>he said that women choose successfull males.
to cuck and divorce, so they can go to big bad boy chad and his buddy tyrone
>and that being rejected by a woman is like being rejected by nature itself
they rejected themselves and that usually bites women in the ass during their late 20's and early 30's

society is inherently collectivist bucko

She had a kid with her boyfriend only a year after meeting him and they still aren't married.
I wonder what Peterson thinks.

Racism is literally the lowest form of discrimination one can take though

It is caveman tier, "unga he no look like me" type shit

She also eats ONLY meat and said she ate a salad once and it made her arthritis come back.

It's so hot when a guy cries. Any more pics of him or others crying?

At least he's relatively smart and getting little kids to clean their rooms.
I want a gf like this but I literally can't cry anymore.

I have run into a lot of guys who can't or won't cry and it's really disappointing.

I'm nearly always borderlinr crying from sadness. be gf (female)

I don't even get sad anymore, just angry.

Attached: 1521862305432.png (783x735, 1.24M)

because women love to lie (either to themselves and/or to others) and say that they like when men show weakness around them, when in reality doing so makes them feel disgusted at them. men are supposed to be strong and stoic and being emotional directly contradicts that.

Tfw no crying bf

Red flag. My mom told me to stay away from angry guys.

>supposed to
I don't believe in anything like that.

its biology, its ingrained in you. it doesnt matter whether you say that you "believe" in it or not. i dont "believe" in women having to be cute and submissive, but thats how they tend to be and im attracted to it, because thats how sexual dynamics work.

Oh, I don't have anything like that. Biology means nothing to me.

Not angry like shouting, I just get pissed at myself. I wish I could still get sad.

why do people in the internet act like this

Attached: 1463457130321.jpg (640x780, 71K)

Here, give me a throwaway email so I can show you. I'm not like the other humans.

no thanks. im assuming youre a woman; getting in contact with you means that i would get my hopes up, nothing would happen, and then id feel even shittier than i already feel.

No need to assume.
Also I wasn't proposing anything serious, you might not even like me.

if i dont post my email here ill end up feeling even worse, so whatever ill share it. [email protected]

im gonna crash any moment now, so if you do send something ill probably reply tomorrow.

hahahah I've been on anti depressants for about a decade now, and I can't cry and I'm afraid to go off them because of the withdrawals and I'm also afraid that I might start coming off my hinges if I did.

Also antipressants are the devil the fact that they push this on young people is straight up evil.

Jordan Peterson is not as smart as he thinks he is, I actually think he's a dumbie and a hack.

His Biblical Series is quite comfy. His voice is surprisingly calming. Am I gay for thinking this?

He will sort you into a noose user, be careful listening to his black pill inducing poison.

He is wise in some of the things he says, but I can't help but feel he's a fucking moron. His daughter cured her own crippling depression and health issues through diet, and he's still sitting there pushing antidepressants (although I do realize they work for some people).

He's like every other psych, shill for pharma.

That sounds incredibly deterministic, depressing, and nonetheless defeatist. If that is the that is the truth, then i'd rather want to live a lie

Except that women aren't some standardized thing. Every person on this earth is affected by culture and their upbringing etc.

To say that being rejected by women is being rejected by nature is to say that women are some pure, objective based reasoning, ethereal creatures, and we know that's not the case at all. Jordan Peterson isn't just fucking retarded, he's reckless. He mixes in horrible logic/ideas, with good ones and it throws people who are unsure of themselves off.

peterson is a canadian cuck soy boy

That's not true at all. Most people with (((depression))) can tell you 50 shitty things about their miserable lives right off the top of their head. If their problems went away then they wouldn't be depressed anymore.

Yes, I think so. Roughly speaking.

What's evil about them?

Have you listened to Peterson's arguments against nihilism? His claim is that everyone is going to suffer intensely anyway, you can't escape suffering just by being a nihilist, so you may as well have a purpose to work towards so it's at least easier to bear.
It seems like there's truth in it. Just look at Jow Forums. Lots of aimless nihilists, lots of depressed people who want to kill themselves. Even the turbo NEETs who could do nothing forever if they wanted eventually crack from the boredom and loneliness, at least some of the time. Look at how many rich celebrities kill themselves.
If you're happy being a turbo NEET then more power to you, keep on being a nihilist if it's working for you. But if you're not happy (and seriously, who is?) then ask yourself if you might be doing something wrong.

Read the whole post in Peterson's voice.

You're an ignorant ass burger. There are plenty of people who're so-called "high-functioning" depressed people, whose objective circumstances are great, and yet they're still terribly depressed. Peterson himself talks about this.

I didn't say those people didn't exist, I just don't think they're in the majority.

There's 50 shitty things and more about ANYONE's lives. The difference is that some focus on the negative, hence can name 50 shitty things about their lives off the top of their heads, while some focus on the positive and can name the 50 good things about their lives.

I'm not saying "just think positively!" cause depression is obviously deeper than that, but I'm pointing out that it has little to do with the objective quality of your life.

He's always had a cult following in the unis he's worked in, so there was no shortage of that for him.

Mainly what changed is that now he's in superstar status and makes money off it and can lecture hundreds of thousands of people. But I don't think his daily life changed all that much.

Even for most depressed people, their circumstances aren't bad enough to justify - from your point of view - their depression. This is the kind of shit ignorant morons who've never had it say about depressed people: that it's all in their heads (no shit) and that they "just" need to change their perspective.

There are relatively few people who have "justified" depression; who maybe have no family, no friends, no job, some sort of addiction problem, are over 40, etc.

that's a prime butter face

Probably that he has no control anyway and to just focus on what he can do.

Pls dont insult my internet dad

holy shit that's literally exactly the same thing that peterson said, down to every single letter

you retarded fucking minion, lmao

You don't know shit about what I think. Most people would be perfectly justified in being horribly depressed. There's no "snapping out of it" because it's all as bad as they think. Life is suffering. I just don't think the appropriate response to that suffering is to drug yourself.

You make it obvious what you think, and it's wrong. Yes, life involves plenty of pain and suffering, but depression, according to you, shouldn't exist in people whose objective circumstances are good, who have health, wealth, friends, family, upward social mobility, who life - at least for the time being - is being good to. Yet it does. The common denominator for depressed people isn't the circumstances of their - at least current - lives, it's something that's gone wrong in their brains, and it's yet to be fully understood, so don't act like you do.

>Is a person neurotic for freely experiencing and expressing the full variety of emotions?

I think you might want to review Psych 101.

Maybe he has his reasons. Maybe he is currently lacking a Why. When you have a Why, you can bear almost any How.

We shouldn't judge a man based on what opinion anyone including Jow Forums is said to have of him but based on what that man says and does. Let's use our reason. Read his book. See how he describes a perfect Robot (the guy he tried and failed to help): bitter, suicidal, with "the odor of the unemployable" - Jordan's own words, he seems to think real NEET have a specific body odor. Most interesting for me is the fact that he failed.

>everything we feel is biologically determined and we have no control over how we feel

>it's something that's gone wrong in their brains, and it's yet to be fully understood

Exactly. Whatever brainstate "depression" entails isn't scientifically quantifiable. Your solution to the miserable outlook of certain people is to boil it down to biological determinism, and tell them that without a certain kind of SSRI, they will remain broken human beings. Telling people this is retarded, You've got the tumblr attitude to depression. Most psychs would reccomend CBT before drugs, and most people (who aren't autists) don't see the world through the perspective of pure determinism.

I do not see any foreseeable benefit to having someone spend their entire life on SSRI's. They should work towards solving the deeper philosophical issues they have with life and improving their material circumstances,

He is high in neuroticism, he said himself on the Crowder podcast.

He sure thinks highly of evil people...

As dumb as you think people are for believing in some measure of determinism, you're just as stupid for believing biological determinism is non-existent or miniscule. You honestly think life is fair? You think we're all born equal and our success and potential in life is based purely on what we will ourselves to do? You're an idiot. Both are true to some degree, and Peterson himself is a great example of someone who's famous, successful, of extraordinarily strong mind, and with deep philosophical education and understanding, yet still has this disorder, which he's said is only really helped with the aid of antidepressants. The fact is that depression IS - to some extent - scientifically quantifiable. How do you think they've developed antidepressants? By looking at the chemical malfunctioning going on in depressed peoples' brains and developing drugs to counter it. The fact is that for a lot of people, antidepressants are necessary for them to keep level. I doubt that's the right solution for everyone, but don't fool yourself into thinking it has no benefits or even necessities for some.

I would rather cry a lot than cry too little, I rarely cry but when I do it really starts to flow cause I'm so bottled up.

>You honestly think life is fair?
No
>You think we're all born equal
No
>our success and potential in life is based purely on what we will ourselves to do
Yes

>chemical malfunctioning
This is a value judgement. Just because I have a certain seratonin deficiency (which is theoretical and unable to be measured) does not mean that my dreary outlook on life is a perfectly rational reaction to a shitty world.

People can inherit melancholy personality traits, however the judgement of these dispositions as medical disorders is highly subjective.
