It depends on how long you've been trying. Mine started speaking a little over 2 weeks in, but everyone is different. I've seen people who didn't hear anything for a couple months. Just stay consistent with it and it should work. Also make sure to stick to simple things with your tulpa in the start like "do you like x?" or "how are you doing?"
