It's certainly several steps up from Jow Forums's. /robo/ has fewer rules but ultimately amounts to the same concept (what Jow Forums has become, except with actual rule enforcement). I think 8ch's Jow Forums is closer to wizchan before it was murdered, whereas /robo/ aims to be more like Jow Forums without the shit that doesn't belong.
