Learning to fight is one of the best skills a man can learn. Only a weak soybeta would disagree. There's nothing that'll give you confidence quite like knowing that you could put someone to sleep in one punch. It's liberating to know that you can be whoever you want and no one can say a thing to you because you can easily kick their ass. There's no better feeling than being out with a girl and knowing you can easily defend the both of you. It also increases your testosterone and burns fat. So maybe you'll lose some of the fat around your dick and actually be attracted to real women (aka THICCIES) instead of men in panties and long socks and women will be attracted to you because, no matter how much they pretend it's not true, they all love a man who can fight.

And if you are actually a genuine faggot and actually like boys, you'll need to be able to defend yourself.

The problem with fighting though is, if you're not underage, that's jail time, lawsuits, fines, being ordered to pay doctor bills... it's not worth it. You gotta go for creative takedowns in this day and age.

Meh. I enjoy learning that stuff, but realistically it's just LARPing if you think you'll actually use it. You're a danger to yourself if you look for opportunities to use these skills.

>jail time, lawsuits, fines, doctor bills
This rarely ever happens. Fights rarely result in any of these things. Most men just go on with their lives afterward.
>just LARPing if you think you'll actually use it
Life is unpredictable. The reason I started learning in the first place is because I've needed it many times but didn't have it and had to feel the shame of running away from another man. It's more useful than you may think, especially if you live in a place where people are violent (aka the whole Souhern United States)

this fucking pussy lost the first fight then got banned from the second fight for using roids. fuck this white spic. GGG is a real man

This.
And most self defense training is totally pointless. You aren't likely to get the upper hand in a dark street being stalked by some thugs with weapons or a mob of youths. Looking freaking jacked will probably help you out much more than knowing some MMA moves.

The best thing is to just totally avoid dangerous people and places. The second best thing is to work on keeping your community from turning into a cesspit.

Everywhere is a dangerous place and everyone is a dangerous person. Why do you all not realize that life is unpredictable? People literally get killed in their classrooms.

>had to feel the shame of running away from another man.

You're trolling. This is the absolute, #1 best way to deal with physical altercation.

yerf yef yef yef well you could always PUNCH YOURSELF

GO ON

JUST GIVE A LIL LICKETY SPLIT LIP TO THE ASS

Not trolling. I actually made a thread about the last time I ran from a man last December. It doesn't feel good running from other men your whole life. You don't feel like a man. When you're a huge pussy and you're scared everyone will kick your ass, your scared to be yourself. When you know that you can kick nearly everyone's ass in the room, you feel free to completely be who you are. I love that feeling.

There's also a difference between walking away and running away. Walking away because you would rather not deal with the altercation keeps your pride intact and doesn't make you feel like a huge bitch. Running away because you're scared out of your fucking mind of someone a good 5 inches shorter than you weighs on you and makes you feel like less than a man.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. You cannot predict when a person is going to pull out a weapon or when his friend is going to run in with a flying kick. If the odds were 95:5 that you could knock his head of the concrete in a fair fight, you should still run.

If the odds were 95:5 that you would win, you should still run if they have already swung. Nobody wants to spend 4 months in court with lawyer fees, etc. to prove that you had to fracture his skull and snap his arm in self-defense.

Fighting is niggerish and you should have better things to do than using violent men to make you feel good.

>court and lawyer fees
This never happens. The majority of people don't press charges after a fight, they just go home.

And I'm not saying you should go around kicking peoples asses, I'm saying that there's a confidence that knowing how to fight gives you.

>Don't use a condom, you don't contract HIV the majority of the time and you just go home afterward

PROTIP: don't put your trust in violent randos

4 years of BJJ and muay thai here

Not the same unless somebody attacks you with their vagina. Sometimes a fight is unavoidable and it's better to know how to defend yourself than to not know. It's very unlikely that you'll have charges pressed against you or that the police will even bother to arrest you.

Pacifist user here. I couldn't fight I don't think, I've been in a few and always been able to get away or talk them down. I know that that wouldn't always been the case but I run plenty of risks all the time and find that acceptable, I'll run that risk too.
I think I'd like to learn self defense for the self confidence side of it, but I know if I was in a violent situation I'd have lost it mentally before I had the chance to lose it physically. I know from experience I'm just not a fighter

Unless they have a gun and shoot you in the face

That doesn't change the confidence you'll have knowing you can do basic man shit like defend yourself. Fixing something in your car feels good also

You get into a fight and the cops show up, you're spending a night in jail. You get into a fight and knock someone out and leave them on the ground, you're getting a warrant for your arrest on assault charges. This is the real world.

>implying they would press charges
Maybe it's just me being Texan but I've never seen someone press charges after losing a fight, especially if they started it
