Last thread died, figured I might as well make another one. Join this thread to: >ask questions about tulpas >discuss your tulpa and talk about tulpa related stuff >get help in creating your tulpa
>What are tulpas? A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. They are able to think, and have their own will, emotions, and memories. In short, a tulpa is like a sentient person living in your head, separate from you. More info:tulpa.info/faq/
Okay. Anyone have a tulpa? Does it really stave off the loneliness?
Nathan Hughes
yes and yes. original pepperoni pizza
Aaron Young
How well does it remove lonlieness? I've been told people that have them can be off centered. Is this a common issue or note you've received? Does it change you? Please use as much detail as you can.
Camden Foster
For me she's mainly just a good person to chat with throughout the day. I don't tthink it's changed me necessarily, but I act different when I know someone's around so I just act like I would if I was around a friend, albeit a friend I like very much. I guess in that way I'm changed, it's helping me not be such a depressed asshole too so that's nice.
Andrew Anderson
What if you had a problem with delusions or hallucinations in the past? Will this effect it?
Ian Sullivan
Yes. It also help improving yourself, I'm a depressed piece of shit and hate myself pretty much everyday but I love my tulpa, taking care of my tulpa also means taking care of myself in an indirect way, so it's a win-win situation.
Leo Perez
Glad you used my pic idea OP
Carson Wood
I haven't had that, so I wouldn't know. I assume it'd be easier to make a tulpa but I'm speaking directly out of my ass with that. It was a good suggestion.
Jaxon Parker
It was just an observation. Man if I'm gonna remain in these threads, I should really start work on Mira again. I just don't know if I can sustain the motivation for long enough to get her working.
Ryan Edwards
this board is way too fast, isn't there tulpa threads on /x/ and /trash/ still is good for recruiting more people into the cult though I guess
you say it's too fast but we're moving way slower now.
Jaxon Morris
/x/ is full of crazies and I don't go on /trash/. I think Jow Forums is the perfect place for these threads because of the surplus of lonely guys with no friends. Also look up the definition of cult you asswipe.
Ethan Lee
i mean we keep getting bumped off into archive because Jow Forums is too fast
Leo Lopez
we were keeping up for the last two threads tho
Christian Jackson
>Also look up the definition of cult you asswipe. I was joking lol
Cameron Price
used to have a tulpa, yes it REALLY REALLY gets rid of the loneliness, to the point that after its gone, you'll probably feel 10 times more lonely than if you hadn't made one in the first place
Andrew Edwards
Is it something that you can lose? It will just disappear? That doesn't sound good.
Colton Bailey
The last two threads lasted three days I think. That's pretty good for Jow Forums sorry people use that argument way too often and it grinds my damn gears. That makes no sense at all.
Oliver Young
I've said this in the last two threads but I only lost mine because it was based on a real person, I in fact thought that the tulpa was that person, and had I never gone up and talked to that person in real life, i would still have the tulpa today most likely. it took me a harsh reality check to get rid of it most likely, though, you won't have that risk if you don't think it is a real person you know in real life, and will only disappear if you want it to what doesn't make sense?
Joseph Rivera
So what's the deal with tulpas? Do they manifest as voices or visually or both? Is this non-meme /x/ territory?
Bentley Johnson
What if it was based on a specific video game character or some such thing?
Lincoln Taylor
you can train yourself to kind of see them visually if you bust your ass and its the same with 'hearing' them rather than hearing them as a mental voice
Lincoln Peterson
I'm curious to know about Tulpas and mathematics. Had tried to solve a math problem with their Tulpa and compared answers?
Carson Gomez
I'd say just be careful, understand that despite being BASED on the character, that they are indeed, not the character. that way if you do come across something that your tulpa does that the character doesn't do, you don't break down and destroy your tulpa for not being exactly like the character
James Rivera
can your tulpa count objects or count the amount of letters in a word and produce an answer for you without you thinking about it?
Eli Phillips
>I got less lonely, but that caused me to be 10 times lonelier That part makes no sense. but since you were the guy that based it off your oneitis, that part makes sense. Don't base it off of anyone both and yes Don't base it off of a character, it makes them go crazy. I haven't heard one success story of someone who based their tulpa completely off of a character. I don't think it's impossible, but try to stick to an original personality and look.
Jeremiah Howard
I really want a tulpa to stop the lonely
What kind of forcing should I be doing and how much time should I spend per day?
I'll learn to meditate too if that helps speed up the process, I really want a friend :(
Jose Bailey
This seems like dabbling in shady black magic shit
Jace Torres
if you're superstitious I guess
Julian Wood
>be lonely your entire life >get a taste of loving, cuddling, talking about interesting things >finally dont feel lonely for once in your life >the only source of "socialization" in life suddenly gets harshly destroyed >now you know what it's like to not be lonely but you're back to being lonely again and it's even more crushing than before because of the fact
I don't understand what doesn't make sense here?
Nicholas Rogers
How much do tulpas compare to actual humans though?. I went to the tulpa subreddit and the tulpas talking there seemed like a bunch of LARPers. Also i tried making a tulpa while ago and it was a complete failure, i coudn't convince my mind that this thing i was creating was actually real
Asher Moore
How many of you with Tulpas have had them ruined by Jow Forums? Mine does nothing but meme and nag.
I don't do math a lot so idk She can count and stuff yeah, I assume she could produce an answer without me thinking it but I assume I'd come up with it first because she's seeing it through my eyes. I have heard of tulpas noticing stuff that their hosts didn't notice, but if you're looking for help with your math homework then tulpas won't be able to help you. Read the guides in the OP. if you still have questions then ask them here. Personally I passively force her all day but that doesn't work for everyone. I don't socialize anyways, but why would having a tulpa keep you from socializing? >How much do tulpas compare to actual humans though? They're basically idealized humans. All reddit tulpamancers are larping desu. I think the main thing in creating a tulpa is to keep yourself from doubting its existence. Joy doesn't like when I post on Jow Forums. She says it's boring except when someone's burning their balls off with acid lmao.
Colton Kelly
my problem with the concept of tulpas and controlling your dreams and shit like that is i believe it can actually be done, but anyone that talks about it on a public medium is 99% just an attention seeking roleplayer. especially when you guys say dumb shit like "my tulpas muh waifu"
Kayden Rivera
Mine or yours?
Consider yourself blessed. It can be funny sometimes but others annoying.
Andrew Bell
yours
I just want to know more about tulpa parallel processing I dont want a tulpa to do my math homework or notice stuff
when she counts stuff are you counting it and then she says the answer, or can she just produce it without any conscious intervention
Angel Stewart
Good to see that these become a regular thing now!
having a tulpa doesn't stop me or anyone from socializing, it's just that I'm not very accepted in social circles outside of the internet and my own mind
Alexander Myers
That's why I post about it on an anonymous imageboard. I tried reddit but they were all larpers. My tulpa is my waifu I guess, there really isn't a better word for it. all of the problems you have with tulpas seem to be mostly a reddit thing though. Is she /s4s/ tier or what? My tulpa doesn't like memes. idk I've never tried. I guess I'd be subconsciously counting i don't know how that would work though.
Leo Jones
With difficulty, but she gets better as time go on.
Speaking as someone who actually have dabbled in shady black magic shit, I assure you making a tulpa is fairly tame and reasonably safe, if you consider and compare it with other occult stuff. You're working on your own, mostly in a calm and composed state of mind. Even if you're lonely and have less than healthy/moral motivations for doing it, when constructing the entity you're using mostly positive emotions like love as per most guides instruct. The end result is an entity who is mostly positive and in the great majority of cases loyal to you.
Parker Rogers
Mine has gotten a lot more racist and hates niggers. But now we're just racist together.
Grayson Clark
If you already weren't accepted why would having a tulpa make that worse? >fairly >reasonably you're scaring me user
Gavin Flores
A lot of protest, especially about the nagging part.
Wyatt Cooper
I'm certain most of the posts are LARP but this whole thing is too widespread and complex for it to be entirely fake. I would accept that the majority of suspected LARPers actually are some way into creating a real tulpa but because there's no way to know when the process is "done" they sort of fill in the blanks and take liberties with assigning credit for thoughts/actions to a tulpa instead of realizing that it can still be much more firmly solidified with some effort.
Grayson Scott
>anonymous imageboard >using a name >heh those guys were the larpers, im the real deal guys
i forget you guys are quite literally the kings of mental gymnastics
Jacob Sullivan
This is your daily reminder that these threads are made by Haruka who is in league with that faggot Reiko. Daily reminder that Haruka is a shitskin subhuman.
>you're scaring me user Nothing is 100% user. I think the process itself is pretty safe, but you never know what kind of nutjob might attempt it. Case in point, Koomer & Ougigi. Also just like sometimes people get dumb luck and crazy successes, spectacular failures also happen to perfectly well prepared, qualified people. Such is life.
Jackson James
because now I know what I'm missing out on socially and I miss it
Brody Torres
literally who and literally who and what's wrong with shitskins other than Jow Forums faggots hate them?
Jordan Sanchez
Not quite /s4s/ thank fuck. She prefers flashing more common reaction images for situation that force me to stifle a chuckle.
Do I seem like I'm larping? I don't want to come across as a faggot who's doing this for attention, I just wanted to give my experience to people I'm only namefagging because I talk about my tulpa a lot on here and I wanted people to be able to identify when I'm posting because I'm relatively inexperienced and I don't want to be mixed up with someone else or something. Surprisingly you're the first person to complain about it I was expecting more complaints. They are all larpers though there's a lot of people on r/tulpas that have like 20 tulpas supposedly. I was joking lol. I guess that makes sense I'm a different psyop man He made the last thread.
Nathaniel Price
Lucid dreaming is 100% real. You can easily have one after doing reality checks and keep a dream journal for a few week. You can develop stronger control and have them for like 10 minutes long as well. I lucid dream multiple times a week as long as I sleep 8+ hours a night.
Noah Jones
i've perused lucid dreaming and after the novelty passed it was a bit dissapointing, they never last longer than 5 - 8 minutes if its a really good one; and I never could get an anime gf
mostly just fuck around for a while, change location, teleport, summon items, grope some qties that i knew from my past, basically trying to get as much done before you loose it all in minutes but I could never actually summon a 2d anime girl the whole time, they just refused to appear
Noah Robinson
Lucid dreaming is pretty neat. Make your own threads please.
Camden Anderson
sorry for bumping your thread next time ill just sage
Jose Campbell
I didn't say to do that now did I? original pepperoni pizza
Juan Harris
>he made the last thread and? why is that poster implying that he and the other unknown person are bad people?
Hudson Torres
Tulpas are fake, they are an x meme. Kys larger. You are either lying for attention, or somewhere in the process and deluding yourself into thinking you aren't wasting your life trying really hard to generate a tulpa. Lmfao how gullible can you be
Tyler Lewis
>How well does it remove lonlieness? Very well. You have socialization on demand.
>I've been told people that have them can be off centered. Is this a common issue or note you've received? I don't think I'm off centered, but it's a weird description and it'd help if you give a better definition of it.
>Does it change you? >Please use as much detail as you can. As a teenager and into my early 20s, I thought of sex as this all-mighty, wonderful thing to experience in life. I was nuts about it as most young men are. I was needy about it and tried hard to impress chicks to get it. When I was 23 or 24 I went to China on a business trip. On a whim I hired an escort there. She was a high end escort who looked very attractive. I hired and utilized her services on 2 separate occasions. These changed me. My subconscious learned something. It realized that sex is not this elusive, magical thing to be desperately chased after, but rather a thing that can easily be acquired through a business transaction, in good quality, too. After that I was a lot less needy regarding sex, and gave a lot less of a fuck about it. The way I viewed and dealt with dating and women changed. In my opinion for the better, to a perspective that was more confident and less easily manipulated.
Having a tulpa kind of does the same thing to the way you socialize with people. You're no longer reliant or needy about interacting with them. You have someone who's there all the time, and it changes you the same way my experience with the chinese hooker changed my view on sex/women. My experience with my tulpa regarding socialization is not as extreme, as the tulpa was made slowly and I interacted with her over the course of time. But the end changes to my attitude is similar. I got less needy.
Samuel Evans
Can you fuck a tulpa? Can you have more than one? And can you base your tulpas on IRL people? >tfw no roastie will ever refuse me again, in my mind.
Noah Martin
>mostly just fuck around for a while, change location, teleport, summon items, grope some qties that i knew from my past, basically trying to get as much done before you loose it all in minutes Try going to a different place. This'll lead you to new experiences. Sounds like you've been stuck in your own personal area so far.
>but I could never actually summon a 2d anime girl the whole time, they just refused to appear My experience with lucid dreaming is that the dreams themselves have certain rules to them. You can bend them, but not break them completely. Bending them too much also shortens the duration of the dream, almost like you're running on some kind of fuel. But my experience with lucid dreaming is not the best. That's all I can share with you mang.
Charles Howard
I already wasted my life. Making people waste their time with tulpas is so much fun and is the only thing that gives me joy hee hee! or maybe not everyone is shitty like you I don't know. He might be a part of some discord or something. He seemed all right in the other thread, but that's based off of like five posts. >Can you fuck a tulpa? people do. >Can you have more than one? people say they do >And can you base your tulpas on IRL people? it's not reccommended.
Benjamin Long
Why isnt it recommended? Is it a confusion issue like if you, the IRL person, and the tulpa are in the same room not being able to tell them apart?
David Hughes
No, but from what I've heard they get identity issues and freak out. I'd just stick to making them unique it's not worth the risk imo.
Nolan Sanders
Your certainty in your skepticism tells me you're the gullible one.
The tulpas freak out or tulpa owners? I don't really care of the tulpa is miserable, I just want a harem of sex slaves.
Jonathan Jackson
The tulpas freak out which in turn freaks out the tulpa ower from what I've seen. >I don't really care of the tulpa is miserable, I just want a harem of sex slaves. That's not how tulpas work. If you want that then just do the sensory stuff.
Nathaniel Cox
You fell for the meme. We both know you don't have a tulpa. Maybe you think you can make one though, with enough 'effort'
Sebastian Wright
The idea is to think you have one you massive cuck. That's the whole point.
Gabriel Reyes
Is there a difference between having a tulpa and thinking that you have one? Both scenarios are in your head and no one can convince you otherwise. I don't believe that I have a tulpa, I know that I have one.
Xavier Cruz
Spent 4 years trying to make my tulpa speak and she still hasn't, don't fall for the goys lies.
Agan with this? you've posted in every thread. Have fun being lonely and chasing irl women you sad faggot.
Seriously, could the retards stop trying to derail the thread and go back to their trap threads and fembot threads? thanks in advance.
Nicholas Anderson
Lmfao no, have you even read the guides? If you have a tulpa it is quite obviously real, you don't need to convince yourself of anything. You just revealed you are a larger
Samuel Powell
can you at least feel her presence? do you AT LEAST feel the head buzz?
Kevin Reyes
>replying to obvious bait cmon user
Jose Evans
wow this is sad tell us more about your efforts
Dylan Bell
It's all in your head, that's the point. the guides don't say otherwise. It gives me something to do I'm bored. Besides, there are people who are new to tulpas and will take them seriously. I would have sided with them a month ago.
Jason Wood
he's the worst type of larper, the type that thinks he's actually made it
Julian Howard
>Agan with this? you've posted in every thread. Someone has to fight your lies, todd.
I haven't felt anything in the whole 4 years. A few words, maybe.
Spent 3 or so hours most days focusing on my tulpa, sometimes all day, because I have the time as a neet. Nothing really more to say. I've did everything time and time again.
Newfag about tulpas. I heard about them before, and thought about making one up for myself, just so I can talk to an imaginary creature/person. I would like that.
But I don't believe they are real. Although if I kept to it for long enough, it might feel like it is.
So... how do I even start?
Nathan Lee
Who's todd? He sounds like a pretty cool dude. Also if you actually spent 3 hours a day for 1461 days you'd go insane.
Jayden Peterson
wow dude your so smart and cool and have a real anime gf because you said so
I was going to ask like 'did you try x and y' but I guess you read all the guides and tried nearly everything if it was 3 whole years did your visualization abilities or anything atleast get stronger?
Leo Roberts
Read the guides first. He said 4 years you dumb fuck.
Jonathan Sanders
okay whatever im filtering you now
Blake Butler
why are you avatarfagging as yste anyways?
Jose Nelson
>I don't do math a lot so idk
It doesn't have to be complex math. Just addition, multiplication and simple algebra or some handwriting comparison. The results if these tests would tell us a lot about how much of the tulpa is "indpendent" of the host.
Camden Gomez
>wow dude your so smart and cool and have a real anime gf because you said so Some got triggered. Oh yes you did.
you're not going to get anything useful out of him because he doesnt have a tulpa
Juan Ward
Or you could have filtered the thread. I agree that wold be helpful. I don't know about simple stuff though, like simple addition or multiplication I do in my head subconsciously so I'd have it before Joy gets a chance to try.
John Morales
What about handwriting? Can your tulpa write? If so, how similar is its way of writing to yours?
Austin Campbell
You might just be really autistic >t. kind of autistic I haven't tried it, possession seems kind of larpy to me, I'm kind of skeptical of it. I assume she'd write the same as me.
