I have the same shit happen to me. I've had like half a dozen girls over the years who i'm pretty sure were interested in me, but i've always been chubby and by default I have no self confidence.
In my case I think i'm still decent looking and i'm socially confident, I just don't have enough self confidence to act on obvious signals a girl likes me.
