Nice, I've always wanted to race one considering how at their power is in the low end and the CRX is high end. My understanding is that the CR-Z only gets the hybrid assistance on the first pull because of how shitty the batteries are.

My warranty expires in a few weeks, so I'll probably start adding some mods shortly thereafter. Definitely want to swap out the exhaust, mirrors, and handlebars.

I think I'm going to buy something a bit more practical for touring and commuting, too. Not sure when -- either at the end of summer or before the beginning of next summer.

the batteries can supply full power to the electric motor for like 2-3 minutes. (it only happens this way in sport mode) In normal mode as you push the throttle it will assist only to save fuel and only goes full assist if you are on full throttle. And yes the cr-z have a nice low speed torque

It most certainly will not. Even though it's interesting, being an import, it's impossible to get inspected so I have to be very careful driving it when I do. It's also not really even remotely daily drive-able. For these reasons it's basically like not having a car in the realm of dating, which I don't do anyhow.

I grew up thinking that motorcycles seemed stupid, user. Never rode one until I was 22.

Learned to ride on a 150cc Yamaha in New Delhi. Friend gave me the key, showed me the clutch, brake, and shift lever, then walked off. Spent a week riding up and down an alley, figuring out how to get started and keep idling without stalling out. Once I felt confident, I took a ride from the railway station to a friend's house in Noida, about 45 minutes away.

Stalled out here and there but was zipping through traffic like a professional by the month's end.

So if you have somebody who can show you the basics and will let you practice on a beater, do that. If not -- assuming you're in the United States -- I'd recommend taking a basic rider skills course. That's what I did once I got back to America. Took one weekend, cost around $60, and helped me improve my technique and waive the Secretary of State riding skills test.

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry, which is... kind of like a Lexus? They based the ES300 off it anyways. Fucking impossible to kill this car, my sister used to drive it from 2008-2011 and did not change the oil once that whole time. Put close to 30,000 miles on it too. Here we are almost 7 years later and no problems whatsoever.
