My professors/teachers literally ignore me when I send them an email. Their only part of their shit job besides repeating a lecture is answering some fucking emails.

Living in halls was the biggest mistake ever.

Though i guess I've learned I'm not shy or unconfident, i just genuinely like being alone most of the time.

I don't know but I hate everything about college. The institution, stuck up know it all professors, other students. I fucking seeth every time I remember how incredibly hard college was pushed on me by my whole family after hs, as if I would become a homeless frycook if I didn't go and major in anything.

I was talking to my advisor today, and I have to take 4 semesters of a foreign language to finish my degree, which isn't related to my degree at all. I asked why, and eventually she told me that our department got shafted by university politics and the foreign language department got lumped into our degrees to keep it afloat, because they didn't have enough student on their own.

WHAT IS THIS SOCIALIST BULLSHIT? I'm too stupid to learn a foreign language, and too far into my degree to change course.
Who the fuck do I need to complain to in order to change this nonsense?

I've spoken to a total of two other students at uni so far (other than the ones I already know from previous years), and one of them twisted a conversation about overseas teaching and travel into "real communism has never been tried" in the span of about two minutes. It boggles my mind that people unironically do this. There are at least three socialist clubs on campus as well and they plaster propaganda posters everywhere.

One of the lecturers for my Linguistics course (inb4 KYS BAfag) is constantly inserting bullshit like 'there is no correct way to use language' and 'no language is more primitive than another' into the lectures. A Stephen Fry video on "language pedants" got played during a lecture last week, and I almost walked out. Preachiest shit I've ever had the misfortune of watching. Thankfully we're getting a new lecturer for the next quarter.

Kinda funny how literal communist politics can be found on any campus and all over with students and even faculty but if you were to even breath a word of support for any right wing politics outside of just basic shit like free market economics you'd get harrased like hell, burn all bridges with networking and maybe even face academic discipline up to and including expulsion.
