Get tubes and a injector tool. A lot cheaper, and you can get very specific flavours based on your preferences. Plus, you can get cool tubes.

Soft packs are the ones you can just rip open, hard packs have that flip top thing

soft pack is soft paper, easier to put into pockets, conceal (if needed) or fit into small pockets. pain in the ass to get the first smoke out of the pack, and also you don't have a hood thing to cover your smokes.
hard packs are cardboard packaging I guess with the hood and all. bit more bulky, bit more pokey.
