didn't like this but as far as production skills go it's a good effort

drums were really good but I felt the distorted guitar didn't really blend well

what program(s) do you use anonkun? I also really like the background, the hands and things coming out of it are neat.
any advice when it comes to using colour? I still just use the 2b pencil default in PS cause I'm scared

I just use SAI. The way I did color was I made one layer with the base colors of each part, and then added another layer with everything in a light grey to add shading on. pic related
Never used PS before so can't tell you much about that.

ah, SAI. I've used that a little but I didn't like something about it that I can't remember now. Oh, that's right, it wasn't something I didn't like but rather discovering Clip Studio Paint. I'm really liking CC2017 PS though, got some real nice pencil defaults to use.

Wow. It seems like liking anime and being a complete sensitive bitch are more correlated than I thought.

It needs more than mere basic although well done composition. Stick out, do a caretaker on your own music, do an ost for something, a theme just something that isn't as generic.

With that said, I do think it is very well done.
Btw if those are fake applause, just don't.

The mix is poor, the idea very youthful and it is all bit of a juvenile mess. My tip is go even further, mock everything and make the mix in fact worse, but still listenable ofc.
